Hi guys.

It’s the night before i am due to fly out to Holland for some great TV shows and the start of my European tour. It’s been a pretty busy couple of weeks of Radio stuff and rehearsing, and now i have the night off to pack up my case and get some sleep before the fun begins! I went to watch my good friend Jon Green perform at the Regal rooms the other night too, it was an incredible performance by Jon and of course Mr T Meadows and Ben Epstein. Jon brought a tear to my eye with his amazing voice-those of you that haven’t heard Jon’s songs need to check out his website!

We all played at the end of the night which felt great as Tony Moore and the Kashmir club were instrumental in starting my career as a solo performer. It was a beautiful atmosphere and Jon blew me away with his new songs.

The other news is my sis Mia is recording her debut album this year – I am very proud of her and she has been doing loads of gigs lately and getting great support from you guys and elsewhere. Mia and I can’t wait to get going in Holland…..

I can’t wait for the tour to start; it feels amazing to be getting back to it-the most important and best part-live shows in front of some of the best audiences I have ever had the pleasure of playing for.

As you know my band consists of my closest friends songwriters/family/mild alcoholics/bloody nice people! Working with them is a dream come true-I have to pinch myself sometimes cause I feel very lucky to be doing what I love and having those guys with me making it even better than I had imagined.

For this tour I have an amazing new artist called Chris Cope doing the support – he will be performing with his trio band and I know everyone is gonna love his music as much as I do, plus…

He is a Kiwi-even better! Check out his page on myspace.com/chriscopemusic to hear some tunes and find out more about him. I hope you will all give him a great welcome like you have given me so many times.

I start tomorrow by doing a TV show alongside not only amazing, legendary artists but also people i have had the opportunity to work with during my career so far. Lionel Richie and I sang together for his show in London in 2004-"Endless love"-a song i grew up listening too and I am still bewildered at the idea that i was actually on stage with one of my idols singing! Take That are another act there tomorrow-most of you may know that i was Gary Barlow’s backing singer when he launched his solo career and it will be great to spend time with him again. Also Ilse Delange will be there who i love as

an artist-she is a great girl and i love watching her perform-hoping her record will come out over in the UK soon too.

The tour kicks off on Sunday at the Carre theatre, which is a very special place that i am honoured to play at. My parents will be there too -except my sister Nikki can’t be there due to being on the other side of the planet in NZ but I will sing a song for her wishing she was with us.

Here is a glimpse of the kind of Merchandise I will be selling on the tour. There are also badges and jewellery.

When I finish the Dutch dates I will be back to promote "Sinking in" my new single. Really hope you like the video and really looking forward to performing for people at home here in the UK soon.

Thanks as always for your love and support-I will check back in with ya next week. Look out for personal blogs by one of my band members each week to give a slightly different/and perhaps more disturbing and unpolished version of latest events! don’t believe anything they say!

Anyway gots to go and pack-loads a love and see you in no time! Stay happy x

I cried laughing at the 'mild alcoholics' bit. Lucie has an amazing way with words and a natural ability to be damn hilarious when she writes.
Great read. Thanks.
