The singer, who was raised as a Southern Baptist, briefly flirted with Kabbalah -- an offshoot of Judaism -- in 2003 at the suggestion of pal Madonna. In May 2006, she announced she had stopped studying Kabbalah altogether, saying, "My baby is my religion." But she was photographed wearing the Star of David around her neck on Monday night and admits she is interested in the faith. Spears -- who has been dating Cohen, a Jewish model and actor since December -- says, "There are many great things about the faith." In other Britney news, she's headed back to Las Vegas to work on her upcoming album in a recording studio at the Palms Casino Resort. SOURCE She's ridiculous, why can't she just pick a religion she feels strongly about, instead of just going with a religion that her pals are into? She grew up Baptist didn't she? I don't know why she just doesn't stay with that religion. I mean, I'd rather be in the Jewish faith, than Kabbalah, I don't understand that religion at all. :blink:
