It's very harsh on bands actually as the majority are just trying to please their fans and they end up losing some in the process. Having said that if the new sound was to be complete c**p then you can't actually blame the fans. The majority of times bands lose fans through stupid reasons though.

Well a lot of the Razorlight fans said that the follow up was c**p compared to the first album. Yet it's out sold the debut by quite a bit. :o

I did actually think that the follow-up was very watered down compared to the debut but at the same time I don't think it's as bad as many people made out. :)

The follow up is a lot more mellow and it doesn't quite have the same energy as the first album, but I really like their second album. :D ^_^

I do actually think 'Razorlight,' is a good album but 'Up All Night,' is a classic imo because of the guitars being a lot faster. :D

Yes their debut it brilliant. A lot faster, but I do think it has one or two rubbishish tracks. :(

I don't think they'll be playing this now tbh. They're playing Glastonbry, T In The Park and I expect them to be playing Leeds & Reading as well. Also someone on the Arctics forum has cleverly pointed out that Live Earth is on the same day Oxegen is meant to be played, so I have a feeling the latter may be postponed by a bit.
