To be honest, my pic last week was a sunset photo I found on the web :o :kink: ....I tweaked the colours, added some layers and some text...just as Russ did with his. Should my entry have it's points halved then too?!? :unsure:

 

That's why this weeks entry is entirely my own work!!! -_- No photos!!!! ;) :P :lol:

Plus some members are not that arty like me :cry:

It'll be VERY interesting this week to see who will construct a cover from scratch without using web-downloaded pics... :o

 

Well, I used 3 pictures from the web for my cover this week because I don't have the time to track down Boy George and take my own picture :lol: I hope any potential points don't get reduced for this reason...I am sure Mikey's cover for Time Machine is a picture from the web as well unless he has taken a picture of a Time Machine that he constructed himself...

 

Surely 90% of the covers made include some sort of photo from the internet...for example the Jojo ones a few weeks back...how many people realstically used their own images of Jojo? No-one probably...they were all internet pictures with added text. I agree with Mikey that some of us are not artistic or don't know anything about layers etc...so our covers might look a bit c**p but at least the thought goes in :-)

Wow all that effort for a cover :lol: I must say that Buzzjack has some very talented photographers as some of those Jojo pictures were excellent

perhaps it'd help your case if you DID explain what it had to do with, then.... and why you took offense at one particular entrant using web-downloaded pics... but not others? You've created as much hoo-ha as possible these past few days - including searching for and then posting a pic of the wallpaper I used as tthe basis of my design last week - that's quite a bit of work for someone who proclaims they 'couldn't care less about it'... don't you think?

I didn't moan, and tbh I'm not that bothered who wins and who dosn't win, as long as I get to make my covers ^_^

Hardly a hoo-ha, i made 1 comment and posted the picture that is my wallpaper on my computer. I guess it was the fact that no-one seemed to know that it was a copy and paste job, when with most pictures of artists, it's pretty obvious

Thank you very much for your kind observation, that led to a ho-ha, considering your cover is a rip off the movie The Time Machine, which I just observed :lol: :P by the way, its Time Machine not The Time Machine :P

Erm.. I'm sorry to bug in, especially since I didn't post one cover last week (lack of time) but..

I honestly thought this was a creativity contest, not a photography one :blink:

 

I'll try to do one this week, but please don't expect not to see at least one part of it that wasn't found on the web. Unfortunately I leave too far to take my own pictures or create my own photoshoots for those designs :wacko:
