Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygene 4

 

Anyone remember this classic song (one of the best songs ever made?

Believe or not, this track is from 1976! :P

Oxygene 4 is the fourth (obviously!) track from amazing album Oxygene by Jarre (a 5 stars album according to AllMusic).

 

 

(the music video is pretty short; the album version exceeds 4 minutes)

In a word BRILLIANT :cheer: I'm talking about the whole album

 

I remember another electronic instrumental single around the same time

It was called MAGIC FLY by French band SPACE.

I also remember that the band wished to remain anonymous and the wore chrome space helmets with black visors.

Yes, the follow-up album Oxygene 7-13 (released 21 years later) was also sucessful. The video of Oxygene 8 is amazing too!

he turn into Cascada now :puke2: but these "Oxygene" theme is just a classic now...

He's a pure genius.

 

Saw his concert at London Docklands back in the mid 90s

I also remember it pissed down.
