What are your opinions of 'Extras'? I just got the DVD of the first series (preparing myself for when I see Ricky Gervais in March :dance: ) and I'm actually more hooked than I ever was! I still think the second series is better though. -_-

I don't find Ricky Gervais funny, which is stange because i like most comedians/comedy shows

I like Extras. A LOT more than The Office anyways.

 

My favourite episode has to be the Daneil Radcliffe one though. :lol: Some of the stuff in that epsiode was priceless. :lol:

I thought Series 2 was definately $h!tter, Gervais is pretty much up his own arse these days anyways so the multiple mega-star celebritites in it wasn't a surprise

 

Series 1 was just a lot funnier

I find some parts really funny but some of it really un-funny aswell, if i was to compare it to The Office, i'd say The Office was quite a lot better, but i still do like Extras :D

yeah, i agree, especially true for the 2nd series, the first one was a lot better, imo... the david bowie episode was one of the best ones though.

 

i'm not a fan of ricky gervias, and extras is his only work which i find remotely appealing, i hated the office.

 

also, i read somewhere that there are no plans to make another series anytime soon, i think.

I got into it after watching Series 2, then caught up with Series 1.

I really enjoyed it. I thought it had some good moments.

I prefer Extras to the Office. I wish I had seen more episodes though. The Kate Winslet one is hilarious though! :lol:

I've just seen on Wikipedia that both Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant have stated there will not be a new series of Extras :( Apparently they'd like to leave it on a high like The Office <_<
