chick fit is great but wont do well, i reckon top20 and then we will hear theyve been dropped :(

I think it'd struggle to make the Top40 tbh.

Its not got playlisted on Radio 1 and it's on barley any of the music channels. Shame as it's a very good track. ^_^

It wouldnt surprize me if it were true the album did absolutely bomb.
I've only seen it on tv once. It's a shame, because there was so much hope for this project and Rock Steady was excellent, but they don't seem to have consolodated that. No-one seems to care, and that includes them.

Is that confirmed yet?

Nope, not yet. ;)

Nope, not yet. ;)

Thanks Kelly, hope "Chick Fit" does well on the charts :)

I though Rock Steady was very well promoted and it did really well when released. I think the biggest mistake made was releasing the album as early as they did.

As far as I saw, the album was really promoted at all so the public didn't know anything about its release.

They really should have released the album after the second single imo!!!

Definitely agree about releasing the album after 2 singles. The public didn't have any chance to work out whether they were prepared to invest in All Saints for a second time.

Parlophone were planning on releasing the album a week later, which may have made a difference, but moved it forward a week (without doing any album promotion) so they would avoid a chart battle with Oasis, U2, Westlife etc. With hindsight, it wouldn't have been much of a battle anyway!

Still a pity it's bombed, Chick Fit is a good track and the album's pretty solid.

Thanks Kelly, hope "Chick Fit" does well on the charts :)

I don't think it will. :(

Papers are saying their close to being dropped now "Chick fit" is download only and after the promoition is finished all girls are gonna be told they've been dropped..
Reformed girl group All Saints are reportedly on the verge of being dropped by their record label Parlophone.

Natalie and Nicole Appleton, Melanie Blatt and Shaznay Lewis reunited after a five-year hiatus last year, but after scoring a number three hit with their 'Rocksteady' single, their album Studio 1 has sold poorly.

Their latest single 'Chick Fit' is being released as a download only and has failed to make the playlist on almost every major radio station.

However, bosses at their record label recently rubbished rumours that they are to be dropped and insist that the group are planning a comeback tour.

From DigitalSpy.

I really hope they don't get dropped! Man I'd love to go and see their comeback tour :D
