February 8, 200718 yr Their 'comeback' never inspired the excitement they or EMI expected, therefore their second retiral will go with the same whimper. They're not good anyway, and this whole reggae angle hasn't worked.
February 8, 200718 yr I guess the album must be largely uptempo? The whole album is with the exception of the last song, which is a semi ballad..
February 8, 200718 yr It will be a shame if they have been dropped. All Saints are certainly one of the more credible girl groups around at the moment. Its a pity their album flopped. I listened to it and there are a couple of really good tracks on it. I loved "rock steady".
February 8, 200718 yr Rock Steady was  But after listening to there new album, I think the best idea for them is if they get dropped
February 8, 200718 yr Author The best idea with All Saints would be for them to re-issue the album with a few new tracks on which could be very single worthy, they should then give it the right promotion and they could maybe be sucessful that time. ^_^ However, I'm not sure EMI would have the money to fund that project seeing as they are already struggling for cash from the looks of things and if it flopped again it would mean them losing even more money. Hopefully when they merge with Parlophone they won't have taken All Saints off their books and they'll have a bit more money to spare.
February 8, 200718 yr I think 'On And On', 'Flashback' and 'Headlock' in particular are definitely single worthy, but if so few people are interested in them, it won't matter what they release, they'll be doomed. :(
February 8, 200718 yr Author 'On And On,' is my least favourite track on 'Studio One,' so I wouldn't paticularly want that to get a release but at the same time it shows a different side to them so it could help the album sell. I think people would be interested in them but they just need to get noticed much more, if 'Chick Fit,' hasn't been cancelled they have a bit of promotion soon for it which will hopefull help a bit. :)
February 8, 200718 yr I really don't see the fuss with "On and On".. it's probably my least favourite on the album too. If they were gonna pick a ballad/mid tempo track.. it should be "In It To Win It". Personally perfect 3rd and 4th singles would be "Scar" and "Flashback"!
February 8, 200718 yr Author I would definitley like to see 'Scar,' get a release and possibly 'Headlock,' too?
February 10, 200718 yr I though Rock Steady was very well promoted and it did really well when released. I think the biggest mistake made was releasing the album as early as they did. As far as I saw, the album was really promoted at all so the public didn't know anything about its release. They really should have released the album after the second single imo!!! Chick Fit is just gonna flop on its arse when its released, I haven't heard it on the radio once and it ain't appearing in the itunes top 100!!!!
February 10, 200718 yr Apparently EMI have had a staff and artist shake up and have dropped All Saints, Chick Fit has also been cancelled But will the Saints go marching on? :o
February 10, 200718 yr Author It was a bit inevitable that they were going to be dropped if EMI were dropping artists, I don't imagine they will carry on now as it they may not see it as being worth their while, hopefully they have a press conference which will confirm the future of All Saints.
February 11, 200718 yr Apparently EMI have had a staff and artist shake up and have dropped All Saints, Chick Fit has also been cancelled But will the Saints go marching on? :o Do you have a source Nathan? :P
February 11, 200718 yr i think everythinig will depend on chick fit ,it will either make or break them, and im sure the record company will wait and see how it goes, the album did badly but the single did well
February 11, 200718 yr chick fit is great but wont do well, i reckon top20 and then we will hear theyve been dropped :(
