Posted February 8, 200718 yr Hi, does anyone know how well Lucie's singles did on the physical only chart? I know that downloads were introduced just before The Game Is Won was released and I think that's partly why it and later singles charted so low. She doesn't seem like the type of artist that gets huge support from downloads. Thanks in advance
February 8, 200718 yr Well downloads have only been counted towards the chart since Jan 2007, so the fact TGIW, DLB, FMN & LY charted low wouldn't be anything to with the download situation, so the pyshical chat peaks would be... WYMO:7 BI:6 TGIW:38 DLB:34 FMN:76 LY:79
February 8, 200718 yr I believe Last Year was Lucie's only single to be released after the download/physical chart was introduced and it's quite right to say its chart position wasn't helped by the lack of downloads. As for TGIW and DLB I mean they went top 40 and for a 3rd and 4th single from a not so well known artist is pretty respectable. Shame about FMN yes but as Toby said not much promo and Christmas week didn't make for amazing sales.

That's true, and they helped boost the album sales, which is more important in the long run. lets hope Sinking in will, i herd it quite alot on heart lol Haven't heard the single on the radio yet, will have to make sure I stay tuned to Heart!
