Posted February 8, 200718 yr I've been awaiting this album for a while now but I was reading on Wikipedia that Kanye has said it's going to be released later than it was expected, HMV have it listed for a date next month but I can't see that being very likely now. Wikipedia also mentions that the debut single from 'Graduation,' is supposed to be a song named 'Homecoming,' which was penned with Chris Martin, personally I find Coldplay a boring band but Chris Martin has managed to help artists such as Nelly Furtado with 'All Good Things,' so maybe it won't be too bad. :) Edited February 8, 200718 yr by TheOrdinaryArcticBoy
February 10, 200718 yr This was meant to be released the back end of 2006, then got moved to March 2007 and now is supposedly Christmas 2007 The Chris Martin duet sounds interesting :P
February 10, 200718 yr Author Christmas. :o I am hoping that this album is a masterpiece then seeing as it seems to be taking such a large amount of time. Hopefully he releases 2 singles before the album is released, that would mean the first single to be taken from it would be released about September and the 2nd single at Christmas to promote the album.
February 20, 200718 yr I like his music, but his ego is too much even for me. He does seem to have a bit of an ego, but you've got to hand it to him, her had the balls to sing about religion in his songs even if it might lose some fans or get less airplay, but Jesus Walks is excellent

Kanye West is eyeing a September release for his third Def Jam album, "Graduation," which, as first reported here in January, will feature Coldplay's Chris Martin on the song "Homecoming" as well as the the track "Can't Tell Me Nothing," a snippet of which has begun making the rounds online. The latter cut, which was assembled with the help of DJ Toomp, finds West rapping, "I had a dream I could buy my way to heaven / When I woke I spent that on a necklace / I told God I'd be back in a second / Man, it's so hard not to act reckless." West previously told Billboard he'd be working again with producer/multi-instrumentalist Jon Brion, who played a key role on his 2005 album "Late Registration." The artist will make a handful of live appearances this summer, beginning July 2 in Manchester, England, and including a July 7 set at Live Earth in East Rutherford, N.J., a July 14 stop at the Cisco Systems Bluesfest in Ottawa, Ontario, and an Aug. 18-19 booking at the U.K.'s V Festival. September 10, 200717 yr I wasn't too keen on it at first, but I really like it now. ^_^ My favourites are "Stronger", "Good Life", "Flash Lights", "Everything I Am" and "Champion". ^_^
