How is everyone? Anyone brought any christmas presents yet?

 

I've ordered my little boy's main Christmas present - he's getting a Yahama electric piano - not full size - its one octave short of a full keyboard but it should do him for a couple of years. If I'm being honest ... I'm getting it for me really! I took Lou into HMV last Saturday and hovered around the calendars - eyeing up the Take That one so he'll know what to get me!

 

By the way - I hope you've been looking at the photos I've been adding to the gallery!

same here we have alot of the pressies bought and the gud ole nintendo wee which my daughter really wants but i think we all want it and i know it will be great fun x mas day with,,,,,i got quiet alot of dvds over the last month as they were cheap so they are all put away nice and safely for christmas

Can't believe it! Only a week in the job and today ... I got a phone call from .... Johnny Vegas! Was a bit gobsmacked and glad that I didn't say 'oh p/ss off' when I asked who was leaving the message! Turned out it was true! Hope to meet him on Monday! Yes I know he's rather rotund and from St Helens - but I really do like the guy ... I just hope he's as nice in real life as he is on the phone!

Nah! We're all taking our cameras in on Monday as after he's sold him his sofa our boss is going to ask him if he'd mind having his picture taken with us. I'm sure he'll say yes!

Considering all the Take That activity lately .... this forum is surprisingly dead! I hope there is more interest in the single and album when its released otherwise they'll be lucky to make top 5! :lol:

But yeah, it is too quiet...we should spam the pop-forum with TT -threads! (The problem is that a lot of people will judge the new album only hearing the Greatest Day, whcih will be kind of a bad thing <_< )

No! I don't like anyone spamming the general boards - I'm certainly not going to start doing it with TT. Besides I like Greatest Day now - now that I've heard a lot of the other c**p songs that other posters are labelling 'super, fantastic, the best thing since sliced bread'. I mean Womanizer - spammed to death and it is absolute shoite!

You don't do that! You do the same as I do ... give TT a special mention each time the top 50 albums & singles thread is started! That isn't spamming! I think Leona's fans are spamming her to death right now though - if they're not careful they're going to really turn people off!

Well we have a few opportunities to do it now! RTW is number 39 in the 'before download' chart - can you believe that? And Beautiful World and Rule The World are inside the top 50 charts for 2008, despite BW being a 2006 release and RTW a 2007 release!

WOW its great that the singles are long terms sellers and i must add for a single that is nothging to do with charity of reality shows rule the worl;d has sold astonishinly well,,i think eventaully it will reach 600,000 sales and in todays climate that is brilliant

I think we're just 18 short now of the 15,000 mark!

Does anyone like the new TT forum?

 

I hate it with passion. This white on black kills my eyes. If it will remain like that, i won't be too much active there anymore -_- ....

i havnt checked it out yet :o

It isn't up and running yet ... people are still posting on the old TTTV site. I don't know what to make of the new one yet ... it seems a bit 'official' looking.
