its freezing and loads of snow here in ireland tonight also

I'm too scared to look out of the window! They said the snow was heading north (you'd think it was a scene from John Carpenter's The Fog the way they go on!) I really want to get a full week in at work this week!

I've just taken a little lookie out of the window! It actually seems as though its fading!

 

It was fairly bad this morning but I managed to get in to work (but a bloke who lives only another 8 miles away from the place than me phoned in saying he couldn't get in it was so bad!) Althoug, I'm certain the weather couldn't have been so different between Wigan and Warrington!

Pete ... if it is really bad ... don't even try! This weather can be treacherous. Yes I know to people in Montreal or Moscow we must seem like absolute wusses ... but we're just not prepared for it! If it looks dodgy ... stay at home and do some revision!

NOTHING is worth worrying about. A friend of mine (from the convent I used to work in) said this to me once ... when I was worried about something: Will this matter in 5 years time? If not ... then it doesn't matter now! So skipping a day or two off work or college due to whatever reason ... is neither here nor there!

For someone who got the most brits, was very surprising for me. And it is not like he got only the publicum vote, he got also from critics awards some, right?

I think its because although Rob has won more Brits than most (some more deserving than others) his story fades into comparison with Take That's. They deserve the recognition more. Anyway ... Rob's award for Angels being the best song over the last 25 years (in 2005 I think) was totally laughable ... as were some of his others. But there you go! Anyway ... with Mark Robson & Guy Chambers apparently working on his new stuff ... I'm sure he'll have at least another couple of Brit awards coming to him over the next few years. They've just got to make sure that Rob only does the singing and entertaining.
