hi all i didnt watch corrie but i was glued to eastenders

Did you see Corrie last night Kathy? :o

 

I certainly did see it last night (well the second one anyway). I do wish they'd dispense with the Claire/Ashley story - no-one cares - the girl has, as Tracy Barlow said, the personality of a frying pan. The Roy/Hayley one is getting on my nerves too.

 

 

I really do like the kid who plays David Platt though - he's brilliant and I do like this story.

 

I hope they make more of the Sally story too - I love her snobbiness (she reminds me now of Annie Walker in the 60's and 70's).

Yeah the David Platt storyline with Bethany and the drugs :o I kinda felt sorry for him :o

I felt a bit sorry for him too - now that this storyline has come to an end though - I'm a bit stuck. I don't care much for the Hayley storyline and I don't like Claire at all - so that one is out of the window. The only thing thats going on now that I like - or am intrigued by - is the one involving Sally - I just know she's going to seduce that John fella! That woman's had more men than Cecil B DeMille killed extras! I just love her though - she's so snobby (and she gets some of the funniest lines). I must admit - I like the Liz / Vernon thing thats going on too!

I bet you're too young to remember - but there was a character in it at the start in the 60's and into the 70's - called Annie Walker. She was the original licensee of the Rovers Return. She was an absolute knock-out! She was a real snob and had all the best lines - she was certainly my favourite. The current writers are aiming Sally that way (I think the girl who plays her, Sally Whittaker does a brilliant job).

 

I'm quite pleased by the M&S thing that has taken off with the lads. Its going to be pretty good publicity for the song and for the film Stardust. I reckon Take That have turned into quite a cash-cow for Polydor. I really think though that the big publicity machine is going to get behind bloody Leona Lewis and her very average song.

I haven't seen that yet - I actually tape programs and then don't even have chance to watch them. I've still got my nephew's complete set of Curb Your Enthusiasm which I've been promising myself to watch from start to finish and haven't even started yet!

 

I have watched the new series of Drop Dead Gorgeous though, on BBC3 - superb television. There was even quite a sizeable mention of Take That in last week's episode. If you've not watched this - try and watch it when it re-runs on BBC1 in a few months time. However - it still hasn't finished yet on BBC3.

i havent got into skins,i adore shameless and when i heard it was the makers of shaemless behind skins i was happy but i was disappointed

so anyo shows guys that y yall used to follow religiously thats not on tv anymore??

you know what guys i've been thinking whaty should be put on tt take forum any suggestions??

and yes i know that getting more people to join is probably the no.1 priority which im working hard at

but it seem like they just donty bother to join this forum but imma try try take that apreciation page

maybe i can get fans from there to join.And also of course get some ideas of games,poll, etc etc to make for this forum but.

But some times i feel like im on my own doing all the moderating because i would love to get some type of communication with the oher co-mod to hear her ideas or anything at all.

yeah that would be good mcfly fans seems like a friendly bunch i can see them posting on tt forum hopefully.

as for games and stuff well i have a some ides but im also still looking around other forums on buzzjack

and other interntes sites for ideas to waht to put in tt forum.

Not as many high notes as in Patience ... his voice was perfect last night. Besides ... he and Jason don't smoke - they gave up years ago. There's only Mark and Howard who do the evil weed! Naughty boys!

I've just watched it again and I think Gary did wobble on one or two notes ... but it just adds to the liveness of his singing. I'll tell you what though ... the show was a bit boring wasn't it? And that venue ... it was pants - it echoed too much.
