April 16, 200619 yr Author :o How can you not have read this completely, it wouldn't take more than a few hours to go from cover to cover :o It's an easy read. No complicated plot to follow and the language is descriptive and simple - well as simple as Darius gets when he's well into the flow of an anecdote. It's just sooooooo Darius! For a fan it's easy to get sidetracked by all the fantastic illustrations. That's another thing I like about the production of the book. The little head and shoulder shots throughout and the main pictures in muted tones used as the background to text or quotations. Headline did a brilliant job. ( apart from the front cover IMHO)
April 16, 200619 yr what amazes me is how round here(including various large town centres I vist) I never have seen the book since the first few weeks it was printed, never in the bargain book shops, or reduced or anywhere! every other book and celeb auto is everywhere, discounted, bargain bins and cheap book outlets. it is something that has always puzzled me, as with CDs, I only ever saw Incredible in a bargian bin once, and once again all singles albums seemed to vanish after the first initial release. I did however see live twice album under a proper darius tag in FOPP in Reading Saturday! mind you it was £13 while all the other albums around it were £5, including the new releases! April 16, 200619 yr Author When Darius was in HMV in Braehead for the Kinda Love signing, I bought a new copy of Dive In for him to sign for my niece and it cost me a whacking great 16-99 - that's 3 pounds more than it cost when it was released!
April 16, 200619 yr For a fan it's easy to get sidetracked by all the fantastic illustrations. I think that's my problem. I started reading it, then just had to have alook at all the photos and sort of drifted off... :rolleyes: There are a few copies in my local WHSmith still.

I must say I was a little dissapointed that there were so many pages with little or no writing on them :( The book was over quite quickly :(
