Posted February 11, 200718 yr Hey everyone! Wow. It's been such an amazing week. This week was the week when Lucie Silvas did her tour in Holland, and I've been to 3 out of 4 dates - and it's been amazing. Here is a huge blog about my adventures! It all started last Saturday. I woke up early to pick up my close friend Ana from the airport - she was staying a week in Holland to see Lucie live, and stayed at my place for 4 days. We went out for a drink in Amsterdam, in the cafe where Lucie recorded the video for 'The Only Ones'! After that, we went to the TROS Muziekcafe where Lucie was gonna sing 3 songs.. When we got there, there were already a few people waiting - but that was ok.. We were scared that we couldn't see Lucie though, because we thought she was already inside.. But just a couple of minutes later, the black car arrived and Lucie came out! We walked up to her and she gave me a big hug and kiss. Then I walked up to Mia (Lucie's sister, whose official website I run) and she said that it was so good to see me again, and she gave me a huge hug aswell.. While she was hugging me she said that she nearly had to cry because she missed me.. Aww bless her. I got a pic taken with Mia, and then they had to go back into the venue as they were already late. The little show was amazing, we were front row and we just had the best time.. We left right after Lucie was finished, and we saw her quick outside.. But she had to go to the hotel. Sunday was the first night of Lucie's tour! She was doing a gig at the Royal Theatre Carre in Amsterdam. We got at the venue pretty early to see Lucie, but she arrived at the venue at 4pm! We had a quick chat & hug, and I got my picture taken with Lucie.. There were more fans waiting, so I went to talk to Mia for a bit about all sorts of stuff and then she introduced me to her lovely boyfriend Steve. Got another picture with Mia taken, and then they went inside as they were absolutely freezing. We also met the support act Chris Cope for the first time that day - love that guy. Oh, Laura and I also got 2 promo singles from the boss of Universal. Woohoo! The show was incredible.. I have never seen anything like it before. She did 18 songs. Ok.. Tuesday was the day of the next gig - in Utrecht! We got at the venue around 1.30pm and there were just a few people waiting already.. We had to most random time ever.. Feeding Ana poffertjes (the Dutch people know what I'm talking about) and just having a blast. After a couple of hours, Richard [Lucie's gituarist] came out and we talked to him for about.. 30 minutes? We love Richard, we really do. He went in to soundcheck, and we just kept on waiting to go inside.. When the doors opened, we ran to get frontrow - which we obviously did. Chris Cope came on first and he was incredible, he has such a great talent. Then Lucie came on and the show was even better than the date before.. Especially when she came to sit right infront of us to sing 'Stolen'... She was like: 'I'm gonna sit here with you guys for a bit' - and blew us a kiss when she went back on stage. Unfortunatly we didn't get to meet Lucie at this date, but it was amazing anyway.. Thursday - the best night of the tour! Ok.. here it goes: It was snowing SO much and it was SO damn cold.. Then we saw the tourbus arrive, but they went backstage so we didn't get to see them then. Charlotte and her boyfriend arrived and we decided to get something warm to drink as it was too cold outside.. I'm not joking, it was absolutely freezing. We got something to drink and then we saw Jo, Jo's sister, Jo's mum & Wai. They joined us for a game of pool and just for a random time. We loved it! Wai and Laura went to the trainstation to buy Wai a trainticket, and we decided to go back to the venue - perfect timing, cos as soon as we arrived there the door opened and the whole band including Lucie came out. Lucie had her big camera with her underneath her coat, and she was like: 'look at this!' when she opened her coat - and she took a picture of all of us. We talked to them for a bit, something bad happened on Wednesday and I talked to Mia about it and they were all so sweet.. Laura was like: 'Go inside, it's freezing!' - and they went to get something to eat. Actually in the same place we were earlier! That's the Lucie bar now! We waited outside in the freezing cold for a bit when they came back and I got my picture taken with Lucie, and she just said beautiful things to all of us. Lau and I gave her our present (chocolate with a message saying 'ain't nobody sing it like Lucie'), and they all went back in as it was absolutely FREEZING. When Lucie came on at 9.. it was just WOW. The whole show was incredible, we laughed, we cried, we danced. It was just incredible. The crowd was great, they all sang along loads and jumped along. When the show was finished she asked the band to all come on stage again and she was like: 'let's sing one more song!', and she started singing Signed, Sealed, Delivered accapella and then the whole band joined in - including Chris and his band! It was so fabulous! Then the show was finished.. It was the last night, and we all had such an incredible night, and now the tour was over.. We went outside, but Wai told us Laura, Mia and Chris were selling the merchandise so we went over there again.. We talked to Chris about going to Spain, and about his set and how much we loved it. Then I talked to Mia a bit about all sorts of things, while Laura was trying to sell Chris' CD. 'I've been standing on a chair for 25 minutes with my 6 inch heals on!' We decided to help her a bit, hehe We actually ended up singing 'Last Year' with Mia, Laura, Chris and Chris' bassplayer.. Mia was gonna get Lucie, so she was climbing over the stand and Laura was like: 'Where do you think you're going?!' Mia: 'errr.. getting Lucie?'. Mia came back, without Lucie because she was still busy, and I walked up to her and she gave me loads of cuddles and kisses.. I love that girlie so much. Then I was talking to someone else when Mia was like: 'MARLY take this picture!' - I'm her personal slave now Then Lucie came out again, it was so quiet cos everyone had already left except for us and a few random people.. Lucie signed some stuff for other people, and she signed my ticket for me. I told her how much I loved the show and she was like: 'did it cheer you up a bit?' so I said it cheered me up loads and she said: 'GOOD!' with her big grin! We got our picture taken again and we were just hanging out with then for a bit.. I was making promotion for Mia's site, cos there were some people talking with Mia about MySpace and stuff, so I walked up to them saying: 'www.miasilvas.com!!' and Mia started laughing and explaining to the people that I make her site and forum. Mia gave me a setlist and signed it for me.. There were no people left at the venue yet, just Laura, Chris, Lucie, Mia, Laura [fan], Ana, Robby, Jo, Jo's mum, Jo's sister and me. We talked to them for a little while and took a random picture of Lucie and Mia (you will get to see it later, because it's still a bit of a suprise ). We all got every emotional at the end of the night, not just us but also the band, and then they had to go on the tourbus as they had to go straight to London again.. We got huge cuddles from them all and then they were gone.. February 11, 200718 yr Author I miss you SO very much babe.. :( I mean, I got to spend a whole week with you.. and now it's gone. :( But yeah, this week was so extra special - something that I won't ever forget. Especially the last date was amazing for all of us.. I think it was also the best date for Lucie + band.. It was so fabulous and emotional.. Can we have this week back now please?!

So glad all you Dutchies (including Ana!) had such an amazing time, obviously I am jealous but also exceedingly happy for you all at the same time. The shows sounded like they were amazing and the pictures also suggest a lot of fun went on! xxx
