Monogono, a new Portuguese band, recently signed Mother Should Know Records (a Lockjaw Records label).

 

The band plays a chaotic progressive metal with some twists of jazz and hardcore, that was described as sounding like "King Crimson on steroids".

Main influences are Meshuggah, Mastodon, King Crimson, etc...

 

The debut album "Amuk" is released on March 19 2007.
