One mad screaming mare dressed as a fairy, her mad sister on bass, some mad skinny bloke on guitar and some mad starey bloke on drums.

Everyone needs at least one nutjob band in their life, I reckon these should be it... agreed? Ya. They're awesome. :arrr:

Queen Adreena are one of the best bands in the UK without a doubt, fantastic, bleeding raw-edge punk rock, they are truly everything a REAL Indie Rock band should be about....I've seen em live about four times, each time was a different experience....

But are you aware of the band that Katie Jane and Crispin were in before QA? Daisy Chainsaw, basically DC were Queen Adreena as psychotic children, they were around in the early 90s and had a minor hit with a magnificent buzz-saw indie rock (back in the day when Indie Rock actually meant something...) tantrum called "Love Your Money".... Katie Jane left Daisy Chainsaw after the first album and went off to do Theatre Studies, they got some goth girl in, but it just wasn't the same, Kate and Crispin truly need each other. Queen Adreena are basically Daisy Chainsaw grown up from evil, psychotic children into truly dysfunctional adults...

Katie Jane's sister, Mel was in a punky Indie band called Tabitha Zu....

Hell yeah, everybody needs Daisy Chainsaw. I like the way of describing 'Love Your Money' as a tantrum, heh, so descriptive.

I saw them perform it live back in the day, believe me, 'tantrum' is a highly appropriate description.....

Doesn't surprise me, heh... bless their mad little socks!

But yeah, I was supposed to go and see Queen Adreena a little while back but I ended up not going because my brother was being stupid about it... should've just gone without him.
