Girls Aloud's Irish member Nadine Coyle has been snubbed in favour of fellow band member Sarah Harding to promote a new men's diet drink on her home turf.

 

Organisers of the launch of Coca-Cola Zero admitted that Sarah was a more popular choice with Ireland's 20-something males than the Derry girl.

 

Nadine's celebrity soared when she began dating 'Desperate Housewives' hunk Jesse Metcalfe, but organisers of yesterday's launch said the reason Sarah outshone Nadine may be to do with her popular lingerie ads for Ultimo.

 

She signed a £100,000 deal to pose in the brand's underwear that was previously modelled by Penny Lancaster, Rachel Hunter and Helena Christensen. She was "bodyhunted" to model the range after she was seen wearing a bikini on holiday in the newspapers.

 

However, the sex appeal of Irish band member Nadine is not exactly on the wane. She has earned places in FHM men's mag's 100 Sexiest Females poll for the past four years.
