Me 2 :cheer: it was a bit of a drag a few weeks ago, but its picked up :cheer:

we climbed 7 pplaces to number 34 this week which is an improvement,the forum has yet to make the top 10 do u thin k we could do it>??

I don't think we stand a cat in hell's chance of making the top 10 - unless we make a pact to come in here regularly and chat to each other! (not just you and me FTF - I'm not proposing!). I visit every day and if someone has made a post since I was last in I reply ... but I'm not going to start replying to my own posts!

Being a Take That fan I dont really want to say this, but this forum has very limited activity, and seems rather useless -_-

I think people voted on the fact that they are a good artist which is really what they are, but they should have considered the fact, is there a big enough fan base for it on here :( I am not trying to big myself up in anyway or slag off the current moderators, but I tried my damn hardest to get this forum active, with games, news etc: and in no means offensive towards yourselves, but I don't think Anna has a clue on what to do, on moderating this forum, I mean yeah she's new and we all got to learn, but I dont think a. she's learning fast enough, or b. she knows what to do :( As for Dino, well he's a mate of mine, so I dont want to slag him off, but he doesn't seem like he comes in here anymore, so its practically abandonned, and I regret to say, that I too have not posted because there are few active topics, limited members using the forum, and not very much news on TT, they are fading out at the moment, so this is just going from bad to worse. -_-

 

I think what management need to decide is that they should get some better moderators, no offence please beause I know you try. Or delete this forum like they did Morrisey, which I hope never happens :(

To be honest ... all that needs to be known about TT is already on TTTV and Gary Barlow's Tight Trousers ... I've tried getting those folk to come over here ... but there's no incentive. There's more interest in Take That on the International Movie Database right now than there is here. It may be an idea to actually end this now. I mean - the Spice Girls has more posts than this has and its been only up and running for a month or so! This forum is NEVER going to get past 5,000. The only posters I've seen in the last couple of months are myself, Feel The Fever, This is Pop (occasionally), Shiv, Dinno, Anna and Geraldine. I say end it now.

It is a shame that this forum hasn't really taken off, but as Kathy says there are already lively forums on TTTV and TTAP amongst others and maybe Buzzjack isn't the right place for Take That - it would be a shame to see this forum go though.

 

Maybe things will improve when the new tour starts.

It seems to have got better over the last few days actually ... the two games that were started seem popular ... I think we should visit some other sites and come back here with ideas. A good site to visit for game ideas is the IMDb ... some of their film games can be tailored to music games.

 

I even sent an invite to a McFly fan a few days ago but they haven't bothered dropping in yet!

I think it is hard to even know this place exists without someone telling you about it first....i only came really so i could discuss chart sale volumes etc, and was directed here by an existing user - now I love it!

 

But yeah, we all need to take responsibility for adding fresh content etc, as like others have said TTTV and TTAP are so active, there is less incentive to come here, it's 'just another' forum to join. (Which personally i like may i add!)

 

Building community online takes a lot of time and effort, but i think with the new tour/M&S campaign/single release etc there will be a whole lot more to talk about the boys...fingers crossed!
