She said that she has longed to become an actress for years but wants to find the perfect role before agreeing to make her movie debut. She told Access Hollywood: ''I've been reading scripts for a number of years now. I really am interested in acting as its own art form. While i'm on tour for 'Back to Basics' I will be reading scripts. She said '' I'm waiting for the right thing to come along. It's important, it's the right role.'' Meanwhile, Christina slammed her old rival Britney Spears, as well as Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton for flashing their private parts. She fumed : ''I say keep your legs closed. February 14, 200718 yr bitchyyy! and can i say, the idea of xtina as an actress is ridiculous. she's an amazing vocalist, and it would be such a waste to turn her back on that, even for a short time, and any role she played people (or, at least i) would just stare at the screen and see xtina, not the person she was portraying, no matter how great her acting skills! she's too iconic!

I think Christina is right all the way, she's got a point there and I agree with her this time.
