'Robbie is a drama-queen' says ex-manager

Wednesday, February 14 2007, 16:22 GMT

By David Cribb

Robbie Williams' former manager has labelled the singer a "drama queen", following his admittance to rehab yesterday.

Nigel Martin-Smith managed Williams' early career during the Take That era, and claims Robbie's entire life is overstated. The singer was admitted to a rehab centre in the US yesterday on his 33rd birthday, for an addiction to prescription painkillers.

"He's very theatrical," said Martin-Smith. "His whole life is one huge soap opera. He might be after a bit of sympathy. If I was a Robbie fan I wouldn't be worried - he'll go to his rehab, have a lie-down and a couple of Anadins and he'll be fine."

The shot at Williams may not come as a surprise to observers, as the two are currently fighting a legal battle over lyrics contained in Robbie's recent single Rudebox, which Martin-Smith claims defame him.

Rehab Robbie Williams is hooked on crazy drug cocktail say reports

- Seroxat, Xanax and Vicodin mixed with 20 Red Bulls, 36 strong coffees and 60 cigarettes made up singer's daily retox diet

Robbie Williams is hooked on anti-depressants Seroxat and Xanax, and the painkiller Vicodin, it has been reported.

The singer - who checked himself into a rehab clinic yesterday (13.02.07), thought to be Arizona's Meadows centre - also gets through 36 super-strength double espresso coffees, 20 cans of Red Bull and 60 cigarettes every day, according to reports.

The troubled star - who quit alcohol and cocaine six years ago - is also reportedly battling insomnia and has been taking strong sleeping pills.

Robbie recently told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "I can't honestly say that I don't take too many prescription drugs. How many is too many? If you drink as much coffee as I do, you easily get into the too-many-sleeping tablets thing.

"I hate drugs, I love drugs. As depressing and heartbreaking as it is, it makes life interesting."

Robbie's fears of becoming addicted to prescription drugs were apparent in the lyrics of 'Good Doctor' - which features on latest album 'Rudebox'.

The lyrics read: "I've got all these demons and I can't stop them. To tell you the truth, Doc, I might have a problem."

Robbie was reportedly plunged into depression after his former band Take That eclipsed his own album and 'Close Encounters' world tour with their reunion shows and hit LP.

Their comeback single 'Patience' topped the British charts and has been nominated for the British Single BRIT Award.

For the first time in a decade, Robbie isn't in the running for a major prize at the BRITs - which takes place in London tonight (14.02.07).

Meanwhile, Robbie's mum Jan says checking into rehab on his 33rd birthday was the "best gift he could have given himself".

Jan, a drugs counsellor, said: "I have known about Robbie's problems for some time. It has been very worrying. I will be going to see him soon."

Chronic depression, a cocktail of drugs, thoughts of suicide...

Robbie Williams checked himself into rehab after allegedly telling mates if he didn't he'd kill himself.

An aide close to the star told the Daily Mirror that Robbie pleaded with him, "Get me help now or I might do something really stupid. I keep thinking of topping myself."

Another pal added, "We are desperately worried."

According to mates, the singer, who's become increasingly insular as his career has started to wane, sank into an even deeper depression after seeing his old band Take That hit the big time again, while his world tour was beset with problems and his latest album 'Rudebox' got critically panned.

Friends also say the 'Angels' crooner was distraught over Anna Nicole Smith's death, last week, and feared, as he is on a similar combination of prescription drugs, that he could go the same way as as the model.

The singer, who also suffers from insomnia, is said to have checked into the Cottonwood Clinic in Arizona after becoming addicted to popping more and more of his (controversial) anti-depressant drug, Seroxat, chain smoking and drinking high volumes of caffeine.

According to one report, before checking in, Rob was getting through 36 espresso coffees a day, 20 cans of Red Bull and chugging his way through 60 cigarettes.

But while mates worry for his fragile emotional state, the woman who knows him best - his mum, Jan - says his latest visit to rehab could be the turning point in in his life.

"I have known about Robbie's problems for some time and it has been very worrying," she said. "But from a mother's point of view, going into rehab is the best birthday present he could have given himself."

Here's wishing the Williams finally gets the help he needs...

Robbie back in rehab for prescription drug habit

Wednesday, February 14, 2007

By Terry Kirby, Chief Reporter

He was only 33 yesterday and is one of the biggest pop stars in the world, with an estimated £100m fortune. But despite the cheeky-chappie persona, the demons that haunt Robbie Williams appear to have resurfaced again.

The singer, who famously fought a battle with drink and drugs more than 10 years ago, announced on his birthday that he has been admitted to a rehabilitation clinic in the US for addiction to prescription drugs, believed to be antidepressants.

Williams has been living mainly in Los Angeles for several years as part of his attempt to break into the US market and to escape the social scene in Britain.

Although yesterday's statement did not specify the exact type of prescription drugs, Williams recently admitted using antidepressants. Speaking on a BBC documentary on bipolar disorder with the comedian Stephen Fry last year, he said he had begun taking the medicine because he had feared a return to his drink and drugs indulgences.

More recently, Lisa D'Amato, a model with whom the singer had a relationship, was quoted as saying he was plagued with worries about his image. "It was clear he was struggling with his mind. He doesn't drink, but he needs antidepressants to get him through the day. A lot of the time he seemed on edge," she said.

Antidepressants are normally part of a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) that include commonly prescribed brands such as Prozac and Seroxat.

In The Independent yesterday, Kirsty Morrison, a survivor of the London bombings of 7 July, told of her cold-turkey-like symptoms when she tried to stop using Citalopram, an SSRI prescribed for post-traumatic stress disorder.

Pam Armstrong, director of the Council for Information on Tranqilisers and Antidepressants, said sufferers' biggest problem was trying to wean themselves off such drugs. She said: "People suffer anxiety, further depression, nausea, mood swings and cravings for sugar."

Although there was debate about whether such medicine was addictive, she said she had no doubt it was. "It can take months and months. People go into terrible shock and find it incredibly difficult." As someone in the public eye, the singer needed to ensure he had the time to wean himself off the drugs, she added.

Williams came to prominence with the boy band Take That and launched himself as a solo artist in 1995. His acrimonious departure and difficult start to his solo career led to his first addiction problems, mainly with cocaine and alcohol. He was treated at the Clouds clinic in Britain, a period he later said was "a black hole".

He eventually found success with the single "Angels", which became his signature song, and the album Life Through a Lens. A succession of chart-topping singles and albums followed, and he has now sold more albums and has received more Brit awards than any other British solo act.

However, his career has faltered over the past year with his last album, Rudebox, failing to compare critically and in sales with earlier successes. It was also felt he has suffered artistically after splitting with his long-term writing partner, Guy Chambers. Relations with his former band-mates in Take That are said to be good, although he declined to take part in their reunion.

Despite high-profile relationships with women, Williams has been constantly dogged by suggestions he is gay and won a libel case against some newspapers and magazines that suggested he was a secret homosexual. He has joked about his camp image, saying: "An awful lot of gay pop stars pretend to be straight. I'm going to start a movement of straight pop stars pretending to be gay."

Other star addicts

Matthew Perry

The star of Friends became addicted to the painkiller Vicodin at the height of the show's success and has been admitted twice to rehabilitation, in 1999 and 2001

Carrie Fisher

The actress daughter of Debbie Reynolds - best known as Princess Leia in the first Star Wars trilogy - is said to have suffered from manic depression, or bipolar disorder, since she was 15. After a 1985 overdose she was treated for an addiction to the prescription barbiturate, Percodan. She wrote about her experiences with drugs and alcoholin her book, Postcards from the Edge

Ozzy Osbourne

The heavy metal singer was treated for addiction to prescription painkillers. He claimed that his doctor had dispensed him 13,000 doses of more than 30 drugs in a year, including anti-depressants and an anti-psychotic drug

Jeanne Rankin

A regular on television's Ready Steady Cook and the wife of the celebrity chef Paul Rankin, has admitted to an addiction to prescription drugs, including morphine and antidepressants, which she was given for muscle spasms and depression.

Robbie: King of Brits is shot to bits

14/02/07

Robbie Williams was “popping pills like Smarties†before he checked into rehab on his 33rd birthday.

Pals finally persuaded the king of the BRITs to seek help for his dependence on prescription drugs yesterday.

They had become increasingly concerned about the singer on his big day, which was also the eve of the famous awards bash at which he has previously scooped a record 15 gongs.

But tonight he is not expected to win anything, while his old band Take That are up for a best single prize after a huge comeback.

The final straw came when Robbie shut himself away in his £5million Los Angeles mansion before his 33rd birthday and told friends he wanted to be left alone.

As the Daily Star revealed yesterday, the down-in-the-dumps singer was determined not to celebrate with his mates.

Robbie is believed to have been flown by private jet to the The Meadows clinic in Wickenburg, Arizona, where he has previously been a patient.

His mum Jan said rehab was the best possible birthday present for her son, and a source close to Robbie revealed: “Everyone was really, really

concerned about Robbie’s state of mind.

“He’s become increasingly distant. Robbie’s been down for some time and has just shut himself away at his home popping anti-depressants and other prescription drugs like M&Ms or Smarties.

“He was becoming a zombie and those closest to him worried that he might do himself some serious harm.

“Things took a really bad turn this week as Robbie was facing another birthday and Valentine’s Day alone. He’s desperate to find love but just cannot face rejection and worries that people just want to sleep with him because of his fame.

“To make matters worse, it is the Brit Awards and Robbie is unlikely to win anything for the first time in a decade.

“Take That will not only be performing, but are also favourites to win the best single award.

“Their comeback album has been a huge hit, while Robbie’s latest album Rudebox has bombed.

“What with the pressures of touring, recording and being hammered by the critics, it’s just all got too much for Robbie.

“Since he’s giving up booze, he’s not even been able to drown his sorrows. Instead, he’s just locked himself away, drinking endless cups of tea and popping pills.

“When he demanded to be left alone on his birthday something urgent needed to be done. There was concern he might do something silly.â€

His mum told BBC Radio Stoke in the singer’s home town it had been a “gift†for her that he was seeking treatment.

Jan, 56, said: “He’s a very public figure and all the media attention at the moment is added pressure on him.

“I shall be sending him loads and loads of love as always – I have always given him a lot of loving support.â€

She plans to fly out to the US after her son has finished his spell in rehab, she added.

“I shall be going across at some stage but when you’re in rehab, it’s a programme for the person themselves, and they have to address their own personal issues.â€

Although Robbie’s had a long-running feud with Take That’s Gary Barlow, 36, his old band mates sent their best wishes to him last night.

Model Lisa D’Amato, 25, who had a brief fling with the star, recently revealed: “It was clear he was struggling with his mind.

“He doesn’t drink, but he needs anti-depressants to get him through the day. A lot of the time he seemed on edge. He was very affected about what people thought about his music. He really took things to heart.â€

Robbie first checked into a clinic after bingeing on cocaine and booze following his exit from Take That in 1995 – after being “kidnapped†by a worried Elton John.

Robbie’s spokeswoman Bryony Watts said: “Robbie Williams has today been admitted into a treatment centre in America for his dependency on prescription drugs.â€

Last night Robbie’s sister Sally, 39, said: “Our thoughts are with him, we love him and we are there to support him. He’s very loved and treasured.

“He does have a vulnerable side, he’s very human. People tend to put him on a pedestal and he almost becomes a public domain. There’s a lot of pressure that goes with it.â€

ROBBIE: HOOKED ON PILLS, HAUNTED BY FAME

BRITAIN'S BIGGEST POP HERO IS LOVELESS AND FRIENDLESS IN L.A. Star checks into rehab on eve of 33rd birthday

By Annie Brown

ROBBIE WILLIAMS has checked into rehab in the US yesterday in his fight to beat his drug addiction.

The singer booked in to a clinic on his 33rd birthday after getting hooked on prescription pills.

A spokesman refused to reveal which clinic he was in, but admitted: "Robbie Williams has today been admitted into a treatment centre in America."

Robbie's mum Jan - a drugs counsellor for 18 years - said: "I'm not going over there.

"Rehab is all about working it out on your own, I know that.

"But the moment he gets better or shows signs of recovery, I will be over there like a shot."

Jan is said to be behind Robbie's latest bid to clean himself up.

She begged him to get help before and Priory clinic psychiatrist Dr Mark Collins has been treating him for depression.

Robbie has been off alcohol and illegal drugs for four years.

But lately there have been signs that the troubled singer is struggling with his personal demons once more.

The former Take That star cancelled the Asia leg of his Close Encounters world tour late last year, citing stress and exhaustion.

And in October, Robbie said he'd "freaked out" during a gig at Croke Park in Dublin due to the anti-depressants he was taking.

Recently, he said: "I did try coming off them earlier this year, but I think my body might just be addicted to the medication."

Robbie's entourage had voiced concerns that he was becoming more and more erratic.

He was struggling to get out of bed before late afternoon and he seemed to dread going on stage.

Then he became increasingly reclusive, "resting" at home alone in his LA mansion, with only his three dogs for company.

Robbie's latest album, Rudebox, reached No1 but was panned by the critics - while the single of the same name struggled in the charts.

More than ever, Robbie seemed to be missing the musical input of his one-time songwriting partner Guy Chambers. And last night, Nigel Martin Smith, the former manager of Take That, said the news that Robbie was in trouble hadn't come as a shock.

He said: "I'm not surprised that he has gone into rehab - he has been very stressed recently after the slating he got for Rudebox.

"I hope Rob now has a bit of time off to recharge his batteries and then you can be sure he'll bounce back, he always does."

Robbie himself blames his depression on his former binges on ecstasy and cocaine.

And insiders say it's no coincidence that he chose now to book himself into rehab because he hates his birthdays.

One friend said: "It happens every year - he becomes morbid and reflective.

"He wants a family and nothing moves on but his bank account."

Robbie signed a £50million deal with EMI but the money did nothing to ease his loneliness.

Now he is watching, as many of his contemporaries settle down to marriage and kids.

Last April, his pal, Jonathan Wilkes, had a baby with wife Nikki.

And even at the height of his acrimony with former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, Robbie admitted he would swap places in a minute because of Gary's happy family life.

He was devastated in 1998 when his fiancee, All Saints star Nicole Appleton, had an abortion.

Nicole is now happily married and has children to his arch enemy, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.

Recently, Robbie said he wasn't ready to be a dad because he was too much of "an open wound".

And despite flings - or PR stunts - with the likes of Geri Halliwell and Rachel Hunter, love seems to have eluded Robbie.

He has been dogged by allegations that he is gay, and his sadness prompted old pal Kylie Minogue to offer some comfort, despite her own turbulent love life.

She felt so sorry for him that she invited him to her family home in Australia for Christmas so he wouldn't face the festivities alone.

Another cloud looming for Robbie is the Brit Awards, where he has only a token nomination for Best Live Performance.

For the artist who has won more Brits than any other, it will hurt that Take That are likely to pick up a Best Single award.

And Take That's Beautiful World album was the second-biggest seller last year.

It was Robbie's split with the band that sent him on his first six-month drink and drugs bender.

In 1996, he checked into the Priory - then after a relapse booked in to celebrity clinic Clouds. There, in the basement chapel, he was inspired to write Angels which catapulted him to solo success.

But a fellow patient said Robbie had seemed "empty inside".

He said: "He did open up in groups a little about his deepest fears and the 'hole in his soul'.

"There's a lot of repressed anger in Robbie - you could feel it. He was was quite scary at times.

"He befriended many fellow recovering addicts and would take them to his home or join them for trips to the funfair in a desperate bid for 'clean thrills'."

Despite Robbie's natural showmanship, he has never been able to shake his lack of confidence.

He said: "I'd get up in front of 40,000 people and say 'look at me, I'm ace. Then as soon as I got off stage, I'd get in the tour coach and go back to my bedroom and pull the duvet over my eyes.

"Cocaine gave me a twitch and drink just made me ill. So all the props just had to be removed."

Just before Christmas, Robbie's trademark insecurities seemed deeper than ever.

He said: "I feel like I have overstayed my welcome a bit.

"I enjoyed tremendous success for 10 years - and now its the time for the Williams to go away in people's minds."

Among his friends, there are serious fears that Robbie is going over the edge after his latest bizarre video, She's Madonna.

In it, he tells a psychiatrist about having multiple personalities and refers to himself in the third person, while wearing a dress, make-up and wig.

Robbie checks into top U.S. rehab clinic

Tormented pop star Robbie Williams has been admitted into a famous US rehab clinic for addiction to prescription drugs.

As reported in later editions of yesterday's Evening Times, the former Take That star is staying at the Meadows clinic in Arizona, favoured by celebrities.

The exclusive centre, high in the Sonoran Desert and surrounded by mountain views, is renowned for its tough programme which bans contact with the outside world, alcohol, sugar, cigarettes and caffeine.

advertisementBut art therapy, spirituality, counselling, yoga, tai chi and acupuncture are also on offer.

The Meadows says its intensive treat-ment deals with the "patterns that have caused self-destructive behaviours".

A spokeswoman said the centre never confirmed or denied who was staying there.

Williams, who moved to Los Angeles to crack the US market and remove himself from the London party scene, was 33 yesterday.

His spokeswoman Bryony Watts said: "Robbie has been admitted into a treatment centre. There will be no further comment."

I for one am glad that he has decided to get help , hopefully the professionals in the centre can help him to focus on other things in his life.........................

Robbie Williams Entered Rehab Tortured by Death of Anna Nicole

02/14/2007

Brit tabloid The Sun reports on what was behind Robbie Williams' entrance into rehab, although I have a hard time believing that every day "he gets through an incredible 36 super-strength double espresso coffees, 60 Silk Cut cigarettes and around 20 cans of energy drink Red Bull." Is that humanly possible?

According to the tabloid: "The singer finds it impossible to get to sleep until 4 or 5am due to insomnia and is on sleeping pills. He is hooked on the powerful and controversial anti-depressant Seroxat, which has been linked to suicidal tendencies in teenagers. He suffered agonies as Take That’s reunion tour became one of the biggest pop events of 2006. Their comeback single Patience went straight in at No1 and stayed there for six weeks. Their new album Beautiful World also went straight to No1 and has sold 1.5 million copies. By contrast, Robbie’s first single from his new album Rudebox went in at a disappointing No 4. And the album stayed at No1 for only a week. Take That’s Patience is expected to win best single at the Brit Awards tonight. It will be the first time in several years that Robbie has not been in the running in best male or best album categories."

And of course, Anna Nicole Smith is involved somehow:

"The multi-millionaire singer was also tortured by the death of model Anna Nicole Smith last week and feared he too could end up dead if he did not get help."

This should end our former boyband news for the day. We wish Robbie best of luck in his recovery.

Not reading either in this thread, just posting news

which means I have no idea if what I'm posting has already been posted  :P

Posh sends Robbie Williams 'get well soon' message

Publisher: Pam Caulfield

Published: 15/02/2007 - 13:14:18 PM

Victoria Beckham has sent a "get well soon" message to troubled singer Robbie Williams.

The former Spice Girl wrote a heartfelt letter of support to Robbie as soon as she heard he had checked himself into an Arizona rehab clinic for prescription drug addiction.

Robbie was admitted to The Meadows centre on Tuesday, his 33rd birthday.

Victoria's former bandmate, Geri Halliwell, who Robbie once dated, is also believed to have sent her love and best wishes to the depressed star.

Other showbiz friends showing their support for Robbie include singer Kylie Minogue, who he duetted with on hit single 'Kids'.

It has been alleged Robbie is hooked on anti-depressants Seroxat and Xanax, and the painkiller Vicodin.

The 'Rudebox' star is also said to get through 36 super-strength double espresso coffees, 20 cans of Red Bull and 60 cigarettes every day.

The huge doses of caffeine have left Robbie crippled by insomnia.

Singer sends best wishes to former bandmate

Gary Barlow has said he fears former bandmate Robbie Williams will never be happy.

The Take That singer believes Robbie, 33, - who checked into rehab for prescription drug addiction on Tuesday - has an inherent need to feel miserable.

'There are some people who will never be happy and I fear that Robbie will be one of them,' the 36-year-old told the Evening Standard. 'We haven't heard from him in ages, but the boys and I hope that he is OK.'

Gary, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald were accused of snubbing Robbie when they failed to mention him when they collected their award for British Single at last night's Brit Awards.

The boys celebrated their accolade, which they received for hit song Patience, by heading to exclusive London Restaurant, Mocoto.

Nice work, boys

Take That Support Troubled Robbie Williams

By Staff

Feb 15, 2007

Reformed boy band Take That have pledged their support for troubled ex-bandmate Robbie Williams, crediting the singer for their recent musical resurgence.

Williams, who was admitted to The Meadows rehabilitation clinic in Arizona on Tuesday (13Feb07), quit the group in 1995, but remaining members Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald believe the Angel star's solo popularity helped bolster their 2006 comeback.

Barlow says, "First of all there are so many people you need to thank (for Take That's popularity) but we're not going to do that. The real people to thank are each other because we've done this as a team.

"Then there's Robbie. We should thank him because I honestly think if it wasn't for him and for his huge success, there wouldn't still be the interest there for us that has put us back on the map. So cheers, Robbie, thanks a lot." © WENN

Noel brands Robbie a lightweight

Thursday, 15th February 2007, 16:48

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Noel Gallagher has branded Robbie Williams a lightweight after he checked himself into rehab.

Noel and his Oasis banmates collected the ‘Oustanding Contribution To Music’ award last night (14.02.07) at the BRIT awards. He thinks that Robbie is pathetic for seeking help for an addiction to prescription drugs.

He said last night, before the ceremony kicked off: "If you take drugs you end up in rehab unless you're a f***ing rock like me and then you just give them up! We've all been there, but if you can't stand the heat…"

Robbie checked himself into The Meadows rehab centre on Tuesday (13.02.07), on his 33rd birthday. Noel and Robbie have been feuding along with Noel’s brother, Liam, since 2000, after Noel labeled the 'Angels' singer "the fat dancer from Take That".

Robbie’s famous response was to brand the 39 year old rocker a “mean-spirited dwarf" and challenge Liam, who is engaged to Robbie's ex-girlfriend Nicole Appleton, to a prize fight at that year's BRIT Awards.

Noel claimed last year that Robbie was a sad, lonely recluse and said he believed his rival would eventually commit suicide because he is a "grossly unhappy person".

Celebs back Robbie in rehab

Robbie Williams might be in rehab dealing with his demons, but his name was still on the lips of everyone at The Brits.

The Angels singer is the official King of the Brits with a record 15 shiny trophies to his name - if you include his time in Take That.

It was comedy gold for host Russell Brand, who made several jokes at the expense of Robbie's problems but the host's quips were something Joss Stone wasn't too pleased about.

The singer said: "I think it is kind of messed up to kick someone else when they are down, especially when Russell has been through it."

Oasis usually don't need any encouragement to slam Robbie but on Brits night they weren't taking the bait. When pushed, Noel Gallagher said: "What would you like me to say? Would you like me to slag him off? I'm not interested."

Jamelia said: "My heart goes out to him and I just wish him better soon."

The list of showbiz names backing Robbie is continuing to grow by the minute. Victoria Beckham has apparently sent a card saying 'get well soon'.

Thanks to Robstar at TRWS

Eventhough Noel is a complete ass for saying what he did in the above article, I'm pleased at his response here to being baited to say something. The journalists want nothing more than for him to say something negative and I'm glad Noel turned it back around on them.

Guy did not 'snub' Robbie

Guy has denied snubbing Robbie in his hour of needA spokesman for award-winning songwriter Guy Chambers has slammed reports that he turned down appeals to help raise Robbie Williams' spirits.

The Mirror reported that Guy had allegedly "snubbed" pleas for a reunion by Robbie's aides, which they hoped would halt the 33-year-old's downward spiral before he was admitted into rehab.

But Guy's agent Dylan Chambers said today that it was "completely unfounded" that the songwriter had snubbed Robbie's aides who apparently contacted him secretly in America.

"I can tell you categorically it is completely unfounded and inaccurate," he said.

When asked if Guy had a message for Robbie or planned to contact the singer, Dylan added: "Regarding all other matters we have no comment to make."

Guy worked with Robbie on the albums Life Thru A Lens, I've Been Expecting You, Sing When You're Winning, Swing When You're Winning and Escapology.

For his work with the star, Guy has received numerous prestigious awards including three Brit Awards, three Ivor Novellos, a Q Classic Songwriter Award and an MMF best produced record award for I've Been Expecting You.

And he should sue the Mirror too... :arrr:

I agree. Enough is enough, something needs to be done about their complete lies and witch hunt to bring Rob down. -_-

Rob's managment should definatly be taking action. So many lies have been printed and the sad thing is, most of the ill-informed public will believe it all. <_<
