In your opinion Joshua, certainly not in mine

The IFPI is the official site for the record industry sales worldwide. ^_^ http://www.ifpi.org/

FS/LS actually is a very amazing album.. it's the best R&B release of 2006 loose by nelly furtado is second for me.

I think they should put intensive care on that list too.. it must have sold well in 2006.

but what i really cannot understand is why christina aguilera and beyonce are that high their albums aren't that good.

I liked JT'S debut (well the singles), but I dislike Sexyback with a vengence and think My Love is just noice. What comes around is good however, the rest of the album is below average for me, far too many songs that sound like other artists IMHO.

IC should definatly be there. 5.5m at the end of 2005 and it has been confired by EMI way back in October that is was on 6.7m

Maybe this is only albums RELEASED in 2006?

no otherwise james blunt shouldn't be on that list

Thought this was innteresting. Here is 2005's best selling Global albums. Album sales overall have all gone way down, certainly not just Robbie. I mean look at JT's so called mege succesful album. 2.5m sold in the US alone and has been out since last September, compared to Robbie's (Non US released) Intensive Care from last year which sold nearly a million more and was only out in the last two months of the year. -_-

1. Coldplay - X&Y (8.3m)
