I found this album on import in HMV the other day and bought it.

 

You may know Stephanie as Skye in Neighbours, but she's had success with her first album in Australia and will begin releasing in the UK in May.

Stephanie is not amazingly talented, nor is her music anything you wouldn't have heard before from the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Pink, The Veronicas or Hilary Duff, but Tightrope is a very consistant and solid pop album and I don't think there's anything too awful on it.

 

I've really got back into 'Mistake' again after liking it last summer, and 'So Do I Say Sorry First' is a hot tune for me right now. :wub:

If you look on youtube you can find some lovely live preformances of mixtake (don't listen to if you are of a sensitive dispisition) and wishin' and hopin'

i love this album. brings back the good old 90s. its very pop-y. cant wait for Mistake to be released here

I'm looking forward to when Steph releases her music here as well! Mistake should do well on the back of Neighbours, don't know how the other singles will fair, but i love them!

i downloaded it a while ago, it is a good album, there is some really bad tracks on it though.

One thing is now we know what she sounds like live she will need to always preform live as if she sounds more like the record then it will be known she is lip syncing

I have no idea how I first heard 'Mistake' but it was last summer and the video reminded me of 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' for some reason. I downloaded most of the album, quite good so glad she'll be releasing over here and let's hope she DEFINATELY does not like those Veronica whores. <_<

No, i was thinking along the lines of delta can actually sing/write and play her own music where as Stepanie cannot, she also won't make it in the uk.. she may have one hit single but that is about it.. she also hasn't done too well in OZ :) :) :)

I did however like her character one neightbours, but, she should stick to acting ^_^

She did fairly well in Australia initially, the single 'Mistake' made #3 and hung around for a while and the album made #4 there. But yeah, everything else since pretty much flopped, which is a shame as I think 'So Do I Say Sorry First' is the best. :(

Just seen the video for Mistake on First Play Friday on the B4 music channel.

mmm she still looks weird singing. i thought that since mistake was released her last year. im sorry but why do singing when you cant sing? i hate people that do that ie paris, etc.

 

she needs to go to the US and try and score a movie deal. oh and when she does she needs to wear a bra on the red carpet. i hate it when her t*ts hang out...like at the logies a couple of years ago
