February 28, 200718 yr I stand by every word of my rant about he zealots like yourself... religion IS a crutch for people who find it difficult to socialise nomally with others (not only in bar/nightclub surroundings, either), it IS for people who are usually rather empty, rather low and desperate, it IS for people who are conservative - you HAVE to be conservative to follow ANY religion. I think people who blindly follow religion need psychological help and counselling. It's tragic that in this age of mass communication, they still feel the need to talk to themselves and to talk to their little invisible friends. Bizarre, really. Yeah, because any crime comitted by an homossexual or an atheist is an individual attitude, but any crime comitted by a religious person is a fault from anyone who shares the same religion, lol. You forget WW2? Killing jews? And what about the jeovah witness who were killed also on WW2? (most people don´t know it, because a movie about them wouldn´t win an oscar and maddooona and bono wouldn´t make a videoclip about them). In my country the biggest organized group of gay bashers are nazis who are not religiously affiliated, I suppose 80 to 90% atheist. Homossexuality is not an organized movement like a religion or a political party that´s why you only see particular crimes and not people doing "in the name of it...". If all christianity is to be blamed because of intolerance from a few groups, then we all should have the merits of Mother thereza and Martin Luther King Jr. aswell. Each person should be judged by his actions and not by what other people who use the same "titles" are doing. Want to judge a religion judge it in an objective way, not by judging what its professed members do. They seem pretty 'organised' to me, and their leader Peter Tatchell has dedicated his whole adult life to fighting for Gay Rights.... Sounds just as dedicated and committed to his cause as some religious person or Politician if you ask me... In fact, I reckon more so, because he aint a hyporcrite, unlike just about every Politician and Religious leader out there....
