March 17, 200718 yr Yep, there's also loads on the ticket touting websites at about £90 each! I mean that's ridiculous, more so than ebay who are about £70 the pair... £70 for a pair isn't quite so bad, you can tell in that case it's more than likely actual fans of the band who have other commitments and cant go, but they want to make a bit of profit... So, I can forgive that... Touts are just scum, simple as....
March 29, 200718 yr I've already got this (on import) Does the import have anything special on it....?
April 10, 200718 yr Not even got it yet. Got their other albums but Sharon pisses me off a great deal, I feel like she's trying to be Kate Bush on videos and on stage. I just wanna smack her.

Nowt wrong with taking one of the best as your influence though... And Sharon has the talent to pull it off, even if that is what she's trying to do (which I personally dont think she is doing anyway tbh, it would really be impossible because Kate is such an icon...).. I think maybe you might think this is because of the "Running Up That Hill" cover version, but i wouldn't read too much into it, I think they just liked the song, and it certainly wasn't as though they did a bad job, quite the opposite, it was pretty ace... At least you didn't say she was "ripping off Amy Lee" as some of our rather misguided (but still very lovely and charming..) young friends over on the Evanescence Forum seem to believe (other way round innit...?)....  I sh!t you not....

It's not on my albums. Oh they didn't, I think some people need a history lesson!!! Never liked Evanescence as you know.
April 12, 200718 yr When did they cover that? It's not on my albums. Oh they didn't, I think some people need a history lesson!!! Never liked Evanescence as you know. It's not on any album, it was just done as a limited single release - Europe only... Was only available on Import in UK.... Ev's new stuff is actually shockingly good for the most part, you've still got some predictable angsty bollocks to wade through, but generally speaking "The Open Door" is not bad, certainly a lot better than "Fallen", it actually sounds like a proper rock album should. "Lithium" is a good one to listen to if you're into the Big Power Ballads. If Heart had had Trent Reznor, Billy Corgan or Kurt Cobain writing their lyrics, "Lithium" would be the result.... You gotta listen to Finland's Eurovision entry though - Hanna Parakinen, she's like a good version of Kelly Clarkson (ie, not an annoying Yank AOR bint  )... Echoes of 80s Rock Chicks like Anne Wilson, Stevie Nicks, Carol Decker, Nena..... I shall be supporting Finland again this year.... UK's entry predictably sucks dead dog dick.....

I'm too sure if I'd give them a listen if I have to part with money TBH   You're describing it well but I think the chances of me liking it pretty small cos I've heard what they've done and nothing has grabbed me at all so far. I'll listen out for it, glad the Fins won last year always like it when the $h!tty pop acts lose! It's just the same old $h!te over and over again.
April 14, 200718 yr Ive heard a few of the songs and like them, im wondering whether to get the album atm
