I'm no expert but are you trying to do it from your own PC files? You need to upload your image onto the web first then paste the string into the http line that comes up when you click the image button.

You need to save your image to your desktop or in a file

 

than get a photobucket account

 

Photobucket, and upload the image from your desktop to photobucket, and it should give you the link to post on the board.
