Pop princess Goodrem asked the Supreme Court to outlaw her music clip for Say, claiming a bad hair defence. That court action, taken almost three years ago, claimed the song, included in Goodrem's so-called secret album, was unfinished. Goodrem reached an out-of-court settlement with her former record producers on the matter. But the video for Say, which was extensively mentioned in court documents, has surfaced on the internet broadcaster. It shows Goodrem, then 14, serenading a teddy bear and giggling her way through three minutes of bubblegum pop. The clip has taken almost 7000 hits so far, outrating visits to footage of her Neighbours career. And fans are surprised by Goodrem's formative years. "She's not, like, ugly. But I can't even tell it's her," a fan has posted on the YouTube site. "Delta Goodrem is so gorgeous now." Another notes: "Her nose is huge." In court, Goodrem fought hard to have the video removed. "In the informal video footage, (Goodrem) appears without having her hair or make-up properly prepared," Goodrem's lawyers claimed in court documents. Goodrem said the clip was not intended for public viewing. Court papers say the video was shot by Higgins and Carter using a hand-held camera. The footage was "of poor quality and does not present (Goodrem) in the best possible manner." Goodrem and her former producers resolved their legal showdown in late 2004. Yesterday, Higgins said copies of Goodrem's Say clip were sent around the music industry as a demo reel. Higgins said he did not post the clip to YouTube. Goodrem, who lives in the UK with pop star boyfriend Brian McFadden, is now a homegrown superstar. Her debut album Innocent Eyes has sold 2.5 million copies. The video is HERE! February 20, 200718 yr This made the papers because? It's very old news! Her nose is bigger because she broke it playing basketball after said video and then had surgery to heal it. [well that's the said story]
February 20, 200718 yr I'v see that ages ago.....Her nose isn't that big, and i don't think she had a nose job.....she does look like Delta and she is goodlooking in the video!

February 20, 200718 yr It's not a nosejob. Studio 52 is as big as an average lounge room and the video was shot using a wide angle lens which distorted her features in close up. :P
February 20, 200718 yr well you can see how that article worked.... the number of views has more than doubled (from nearly 7000 to 14445) i think it was nasty of who ever put that video on youtube (record company or the people they sent it to) i would be embarrassed if i was a record company making a song like that and that video. they have not even had any success have they (apart from getting a percentage of deltas ie profit) i dont understand why she signed to them :blink: now on the nose saga... it is the same shape as it is now. i think it has a lot to do with the camera shots (in the US lwy her nose looks bigish as well). i think it has just came down to delta growing into her nose. it wasn't huge... oh and with a broken nose they dont reshape it or make it smaller. they would have just fixed the bone... my nose hasnt become smaller or a different shape

The song was Goodrem's tenth single to chart on the ARIA Charts, peaking at number thirteen. It was Delta's first song since her 2001 single, I Don't Care to not enter the top ten. After it's debut at number thirteen, the song fell down the charts, leaving the top twenty after two weeks, spending ten weeks in the top fifty and sixteen weeks in the top one hundred. The accompanying film clip was criticised by Channel V host, Yumi Stynes for "resembling a tampon commercial". The video was directed by Anthony Rose at Point Piper, Sydney, Australia that was so funny when yumi said that! she bags everyone, but i do have to agree with her...
February 21, 200718 yr Findingout...the first and second picture of Delta's nose is the EXACT SAME, i cannot see any differnence other that Delta's head is at a weird angle in the first pic....i think your seeing things....and for the 3rd pic, well i don't know how her nose came out like that because it doesn't look like that at all, look at the MI album covor, it looks to me like someone digitally mastered it or something?!
February 21, 200718 yr There was a closed thread on the Delta forum about this about 8 months ago. Everybody had their own theory about sporting injuries, medical conditions and just straight up, old fashion vanity. That's where those pics came from. Someone had obviously done heaps of research into the subject. I don't like seeing such things go to waste so I'm putting it on this forum hoping for some serious debate on the subject. I personally think it's the fault of a wide angle lens which has distorted her features in close up. February 21, 200718 yr mmm well i thought her face had changed slightly since the innocent eyes era.. i guess that is what it was, a second nose job, oh well who cares, she looks fine with it.
February 22, 200718 yr people do change when they get older. she was only 18 during the innocent eyes era. i think a factor is her darker hair colour and also in the third picture short hair! all the girls i know have slightly changed as they got older. she wouldnt have had surgery. i thought maybe after having cancer treatment she may have had a breast enlargement, i didnt ever think a nose job. when i think about it now, during that age it is natural for them to grow. she would never do plastic surgery

February 22, 200718 yr Why are people so interested about Delta's nose?!! :blink: Its quite obvious that after her cancer she lost weight on her face and that is why her nose looks different to how it appeared in those other two shots!! And there is such a thing called growing up ... which can explain ... weight loss, bigger breasts and general changes to the appearance etc. -_- And as for Say ... the press are about 3 years behind!! :rolleyes: Love, Kirsty xx
