i've watched this on bbc4 tonight.

 

which is cool as i thought i would have to buy the dvd if i ever wanted to see it.

 

yeah i can see why its so influential and why the cynical say it probs actaully invented news reports in the 21C. :lol: then again maybe an episode channel 4 news would look more bizarre if you could transport it back to 1994???

 

what a load of names are on the credits like David Quantick, Graham Linehan, Arthur Mathews, and Patrick Marber along with the ones you know like Steve Coogan and Chris Morris.

 

also did that show directly influence that mad tv station live tv with the bouncy Rusty Goffe Britain's Bounciest Weatherman and news bunny. did anyone actually see this channel for real and not just in clips shows? could you actually watch it more than once??
