Twice in the last couple of days I couldn't access bj. I tried my bookmark, google, a link from another D site and all to no avail. Unfortunately I can't remember what the error message said. I've got the back up site bookmarked but there's no back up to this forum, so I just leave it a day or two and then try here again.

Edit : One thing I noticed, e-motion is that I was logged in when I lost access but when I eventually got back in, I was showing as a guest and had to log in again.

Okay. Thank you for that information. The site was offline Monday while it was being upgraded. There was a message up the main www.buzzjack.com page for most of that period although at certain critical upgrade points there would of been a black error message .

There is a backup forum at http://www.buzzjack.co.uk if you require it, you will find it active and people there at any time if buzzjack.com is down.

The logout thing you experienced making you a guest was a cookie setting that has since been changed and seems now to be working. Sorry that happened.

Thank you. It's good to know there was a reason. I usually put everything out of the ordinary down to my technical ineptitiude.

Hi Preston,

Seems you still have problems. Sorry for the inconvenience it's causing. Your not the only member who's having this problem.

Please try this.

1) Click this link, it will 'Delete cookies set by this board' once you clicked you will be entirely logged out, you'll then have to navigate back to this page to read the next bit!

2) Next you should be able to login normally.

3) If the login doesn't work then perhaps you have forgotten your password, in which case you can request a new password to your email by filling in 'Reset my password'

4) If none of that works you can email me rsinbin@yahoo.co.uk

Is it possible you could explain what happened? I saw it happen to a few members the last few days.

Some wierd message at the top of the forum seemed to hijack my browser  - I saw you had a locked/deleted topic? - the heading was something like 'what the ****' which described my problem precisely <_<

After that I was logged out, but have been able to log back in ok :)

Thanks to emotion for getting me back on line.

OOoooo Preston! {{{{{{big hugs}}}}}}} I'm so happy your back!

It's tests my patience when I see members wanting to get into the board but for some reason they can't get it.

Welcome back I hope we see that last of this issue with the login.

Thanks Baytree :)

I wasn't the only person it happened to, because there was a thread posted about it with a few responses in, but the one I saw got deleted I think - so, I assume that the moderators or e-motion, or someone must know something about what it was

I was on earlier and now I have had to log in again, does make you think you are not wanted.
I had to log on again a minute ago. What on earth is going on that long-standing members of the site are being logged out?
