Posted February 22, 200718 yr The fifth series of Channel 4 show 'Shameless' will run for a record 20 episodes. It will air throughout February, March, April and May of next year.

February 23, 200718 yr 20!!!! I thought it was only 16 episodes. I cant wait. Cant believe series 4 is almost over - I know it's been 7 weeks but it didn't feel like we got to know the new characters as much...it's zoomed by. I'm not always a lover of American shows but I like that they have 20 episodes a season/series and it's fantastic that Channel 4 are doing this with Shameless. Amazing news. More of Bo Selecta woman. :dance:

February 28, 200718 yr Series 4 has definitely been the weakest... they've lost all the best characters... Sheila, the Tourettes one, the next door neighbours.... I hate the Gallaghers.... they overplay the charactes. Boring. And why don't they use the dark haired woman with glasses from Phoenix Nights moe? She's brilliant.... Plus, Lip's nowhere near as gorgeous as he was in the first 3 series :(
