Posted February 23, 200718 yr Michael Jackson to not appear at the Sanremo Festival in Italy http://www.corriere.it/Primo_Piano/Spettac.../22/fegiz.shtml Translation by MJJForum Attempts to bring the popstar to Sanremo began months ago. It took quite one month to understand exactly who actually is the singer's manager. His Washington's manager, Mrs. Raymone, was enthusiastic:"Michael wants to sing live, but since he's not too confident with his voice, he prefers a choral performance". A willingness returned with a promise to honor Jackson with an award to his career. Initial Jackson's request was to come to Sanremo without singing. Hypothesis immediately discarded by Rai: Sanremo is the festival of songs. Jackson's give-up came at 11:00 pm (Italy time). "I'll be pleased to come to the next edition when my next album will be ready and I'll have set up my new 2008 world tour" said Jackson through his personal manager. "Sanremo is a too significant show and I don't want to come unprepared".
February 23, 200718 yr i cannot see him doing a world tour Why not? He sounds pretty certain. It's not a rumour, he said it himself. Personally, i would pay any amount of money to see him live. He is the greatest live performer in music history imo, but he would need to get really fit again to even come remotly close to the greatness of his previous tours. I mean the man has'nt toured since the mid 90's and has'nt done a full concert in 6 years so he needs to get himself sorted. A repeat of the World Music Awards performance will not be an option if he is doing a tour. <_<
February 23, 200718 yr He still has plenty of fans to want to go and see him. Anyone here seen him live in concert before ?
February 23, 200718 yr He still has plenty of fans to want to go and see him. Anyone here seen him live in concert before ? Unfortuently not :( I really don't see a man who will be 50 in 2008, being capable of putting on a legendary Michael Jackson concert. I would still love to see him though. He shoudl release some of his legendary concerts on DVD. His record company should get their act together. His Wembley gig from the 80's has been voted the greatest concert in history before. I have a concert from 1991 from Bucharest. He put on a great show, but had to mime to some tracks due to all the dancing. But I have nevr seen such an atmosphere. About half of the audience fainted the second he appeared on stage. :o
February 23, 200718 yr A world tour would be amazing and I would certainly try to get tickets for it !!! I do agree with Scotty though...... A repeat of the World Music Awards performance will not be an option if he is doing a tour. <_< Edited February 23, 200718 yr by Nicky

February 26, 200718 yr Michael Jackson to tour with Janet & Jackson 5? Monday, February 26 2007, 11:53 GMT DigitalSpy.com By Nick Levine, Entertainment Reporter Michael Jackson is reportedly planning to tour with his sister Janet and the five brothers who made up the Jackson 5 from 1962 to 1990. The 'Beat It' star has reportedly failed to land a lucrative casino engagement in Las Vegas and has agreed to a worldwide tour with his family instead. The proposed tour is also a boost for Jackson's sister Janet, whose recent album 20 Y.O. has been her least successful since the early '80s. According to US reports the Jackson clan held a meeting in Las Vegas last week to plan the tour. Now this could be really good!
February 26, 200718 yr I don't think he'll be up to scratch on a tour tbh, after the overhyped mess that was the World Music Awards -_- I do prefer the idea of a Janet/Michael/Jacksons tour though! :D
February 26, 200718 yr Janet on tour :o  These would sell out really fast though, and i probably wouldnt bother going to see them :P
February 27, 200718 yr Can't say I'm fussed about Janet touring. It is hardly big news, would'nt she have been touring her album anyway?? If their is a tour, then I somehow doubt it will be ANYTHING like the good ole days. But if he gets really fit then maybe he could do a few songs
