I do a bit and I've seen that - just not sure which my favourite ones are yet - apart from this one ;) - well not sure I've got 10 favourties yet ... need to make a note of my travels :P

I only did 5?6, others have short lists, if you only come here I don't see why you can't just put this :unsure:

yes, I noticed some have very short lists

there can't be that many people going on 10 forums or more, I think it's a daft vote really....it's more.... 'which person/group do you like, but only choose from the forums we have'

I must admit, I haven't bothered voting, as there doesn't seem much point.

If I were to vote,on what could I possibly base my judgment? I could only do it on the basis of the league tables and that would mean putting Darius at the top and getting all the claptrap.

 

IMHO it was daft to include the 5 new forums in this rate.

exactly, that point was raised, to me it contradites the titles "optional forums" after all a lot of people will have them blocked anyway, after all they are just places to give fans of certain artists a place to post about them without clogging the main forums I thought.

I'm with Penny. All these forum rate things create unnecessary rivalry and division when they are taken too seriously. What do they prove. Who the attention needy are?

 

The ones I think are worst are those that rate posters. The first time my name was automatically put forward for one on CC, I pmed and had it removed.

 

I've always abhorred the CC mantra that post 'wh*res' are to be worshipped. Why? Because they can post a lot of insubstantial rubbish because they have more time on their hands than others ? They only respect others who do the same...... little gangs form and other members feel excluded.

 

I hate mentioning individuals, but I think the treatment of the foreign Westlife fan on buzzjack is intolerable and nothing short of bullying. People who are reasonable elsewhere on the board have jumped on a rolling bandwagon and seem to think it's all one big joke because charis seems to take it. Some of the tormentors are even mods!

I think all the rates etc have something to do with increasing views posts in certain forums to be honest, nothing more

 

and people do seem to thnk it is acceptable to bully on forums, how they cant see that it is still bullying is beyond me.

I'd be bitterly disappointed if I thought that was the general philosophy among the leaders of buzzjack.

 

It may be a quick fix but it's a flash in the pan. Decent people turn away and keep to their own OF.

My god, don't take it seriously then, it's the internet dear, we don't know each other, we'll probably never meet each other, it's just a bit of fun! Get over it!

And about Charis if he was really that wounded by what is said to him he would have left a long long time ago! :arrr:

I'm not condoning bullying i'm just saying if charis thought he was being bullied then he'd have reported it, or left the site.

I posted in the lounge, that I thought Char1sm had a lot of spirit ignoring the barrage of abuse he was getting. Some of these dishing out the torment, would be crushed with less than half what he has had to put up with.
