I wonder if he will be there tonite. He has been there the last three years but cant find any pictures of him at the pre-oscar parties which he usually attends with Natasha. I believe the oscars are being shown on gmtv monday but dont know if the actual ceremony and red carpet is being shown.

I wonder if Darius and Natasha are in LA at all. Natasha usually attends a few of the pre-Oscar events as well as the actual Oscars but I didn't see one photo last week. I'm sure they'd be there, if they were. Natasha's still doing films too; just finished filming The Tourist with Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor.

 

I didn't see any coverage of Elton's party last night. That's where they've usually been caught on camera.

 

BTW I thought the Oscars were quite boring this time - the stylists had done their job and all the women looked like they'd stepped out of a bygone era - classy but predictable. The Awards were pretty evenly distributed with at least one nod for everything in the Best Pictures category and then there was Hollywood's most re worked story- Cinderella but this time for real. (Jennifer Hudson). The show was OK.

I was actually looking out for Darius this morning when they showed the Oskars. :D

I think I took it for granted that Natasha and Darius would be at the Oscars as usual, so I felt deeply disappointed.

 

Still Brad Pitt, despite being in not one but two Oscar nominated movies was also a no-show, because he's filming.

 

I know it was ridiculous to feel that way because it's only a couple of weeks since I saw the tape of Darius being interviewed at the Noor Film Festival and he was obviously well, happy and still doing what he loves best - creating his own music.

 

I don't think I've ever missed Darius as much as I do now.
