@ djcharly: SOME :rolleyes: of us think that sending covers by PM is a better idea than posting them yourself. Quite similar to the Arts & Graphics Forum competitions, it prevents people from voting biased about their favorite member or friend, or whatever, as well as NOT voting for your least favorite member. Although you might not do that, some others might, and sending by PM is, I believe, a better way. As Mikey said, it's not a rule, but you CAN do that, but you don't have to. So...

I understand very well what you say here, John Esteban, and you seem to be reasonable. Apparently, I'm alone here to have a negative feeling about it. After all, who am I to decide for other people? But like I said earlier, I decided to not participate anymore, it's my choice and I hope there are enough respectable members here to understand my opinion even if they don't share it, hoping people will not think, as Shabby, it is a plain silly.

I do respect your opinion Djcharly, and I like your work, I just found it strange that you would not enter anymore just because some people would PM their covers. Anyway I hope you will keep joining. And the name is sabby not shabby, although shabby might make a nice namechange. ^_^

After all, I should consider again and post a Gwen Stefani cover this week. Just for fun, not the competition that seems to become the only reason to post a cover these days. I know it's a human feeling but life is so rude when competition replaces the entertainment and spontaneousness of anything, that's the message I tried to send, sorry if I was too strong in my words first.

I wasn't thinking of a cover to match the song this week, to be honest.... I just love that photo of Gwen, and I'm in a Pierre et Gilles kind of frame of mind at the mo - hence the sparkles and bubbles :P
