Posted February 26, 200718 yr Brandon Flowers Reveals Top 5 Favorites Brandon Flowers, lead singer of The Killers has named albums and singles by The Smiths, The Cars, Bruce Springsteen, Depeche Mode and David Bowie as the soundtrack of he’s life. Fresh from winning two Brit Awards, Flowers told The Observer newspaper that The Smiths’ 1986 single Panic made him feel immensely happy and Bruce Springsteen’s 1994 hit Streets of Philadelphia took he’s breath away. The man of the moment also explained that The darker side of Depeche Mode drew him in, citing the band’s 1993 album Songs of Faith And Devotion as a favorite as well as David Bowie classic Hunky Dory. In other Killers news guitarist Dave Keuning has been speaking to Planet Sound about the Glastonbury Festival and revealed "It's going to be the highlight of touring this album. We turned down headlining in 2005 but, now we've got two albums, we've got enough songs to do it. Our first Glasto was incredible. No American festivals are like it, people camping out three days in the mud. We're going to go all out to be worthy of headlining it." SOURCE
