March 9, 200718 yr this is actually not quite right.The official sources say its MORE than 25 mil worldwide( for their 3 studio albums) first time around (from 91-96) I think they are pretty reliable! I remember Take That being HUGE, so there's no chance Pestlife who are hardly known outside the Uk could ousold mighty Take That! This is bull$h!t.

March 9, 200718 yr okay i checked ifpi.de germany: there only 4 TT albums have been certified: Everything Changes: 1x platinum 500.000 Nobody Else: 1x gold 250.000 Greatest Hits: 1x platinum 500.000 Beautiful World: 1x platinum 200.000 (!) 1.450.000 albums sold from 1993-2007, their debut album sold 100.000 at most so 1.550m for germany singles: Babe: 1x gold 250.000 Back For Good: 1x gold 250.000 Patience: 1x gold 100.000 (!) 600.000 singles sold in germany.. other singles that charted but are not certified: 900.000 =1.500.000 singles were sold between 1992-2007, =3.050.000 records were sold from 1992-2007 in germany
March 9, 200718 yr Coast To Coast sold over 1.7 millions in the UK and over 8 millions world wide. Do u have the source about westlife saying the album was bad? Coast to Coast has NOT sold 8m. It has sold 5m at MOST. This album was a big success in Asia etc, but since then their popularity has gone downhill drastically, and they are now only really big in the UK and have been for a long time. They sell very little elsewhere. -_-

Between the years 1991-1996, TT sold 9m albums and 10m singles. This is a fact and has been confirmed by the Guinness book of singles and albums. At the release of their latest Greatest Hits in 2005, it was reported of 25M sales. So clearly they sold quite alot after they broke up. Now the GH and BW collectivly would've sold around 3M, and then singles, would bring it to somewhere between 29.3-29.5M singles + albums sold. This is FAR more than Westlife have sold despite them having double the amount of albums. ^_^

No this was in the Guinness book of singles and albums, you cannot get more official than that. Official sites tend to inflate sales, just look at Westlife's official site for example. It said 40m albums the last time I checked :rofl: Ridiculous I know. :rolleyes: Anyway, the bottom line is they have sold more than Westlife.

By the way, who told you that' 'we can't get more official than that'? :rolleyes: Concerning Take That, this amount(25 mil) is mentioned on EVERY single source for them including their record label website. There's no reason to inflate sales for Take That as they were that huge back in the days that i even thought they could sell a lot more to be honest. Westlife 's 'sources' always say different things like you said previously : Simon said it was 50 mil( :lol: ), Louis said it was 32 mil, their official site - 40 mil)))) Regarding their little success and popularity elsewhere but the UK Westlife just could'nt sell this amount , its completely impossible -_-
