March 15, 200718 yr Haha yes good point, though I bet they'll be giving us eight or ten points regardless. :P I just wish they hadn't gotten themselves relegated in 2002, that might've saved us a bit of embarrassment :(
March 15, 200718 yr I just wish they hadn't gotten themselves relegated in 2002, that might've saved us a bit of embarrassment :( They were in Eurovision 2003. :o And we WOULD have got votes off them had their televote system not f***ed up and them had to use an emergency back-up jury. :arrr:

March 16, 200718 yr I'm telling you, there is some sort of spirit out there DETERMINED to get me not to watch Eurovision ever again. This year's contest is on my mate's birthday and now tomorrow night I'm going out so will miss MYMU. And in 2005 I missed MYMU because of my mum's birthday and was going to go to a mate's for his birthday - another person to this year's  - and I missed 2004's due to him again and almost missed last year's for him again though he decided to cancel his party as we had exams. I don't much care about missing MYMU though I mustn't miss the real thing again. :o

March 16, 200718 yr Damn I quite like this Scooch song. My second fave after Cyndi. AKOE has gone on the blink with me now so I can't hear it :manson: But Cyndi is FAB! :cheer:
March 16, 200718 yr I reckon Cyndi will win now... She stands out so much better than all the other dross we've got competing. I'd say Cyndi will win, Big Brovaz second, H&B third, Scooch fourth and Liz and Brian way off pace.
March 17, 200718 yr I've just heard the full version of Hawkins and Brown's 'They Don't Make Them Like They Used To Do' and whilst it is a good little catchy song, it is slightly kareoke / cabaret and if it wins 'Making Your Mind Up' which I feel it will, then I'm really not that sure it will do much better than last years superb and very underated 'Teenage Life' by Daz Sampson which imo should have came top 5 in 'The Eurovision Song Contest' if not won. I'm not really sure what Europe will make of Hawkins and Browns song. I do like it but I slightly prefer Liz McClarnons 'Don't It Make You Happy' and feel that it would do slightly better in 'The Eurovision Song Contest' than Hawkins and Browns 'They Don't Make Them Like They Used To Do'.
March 17, 200718 yr I'm going to watch this show tonight, and I'll pass my critique then on the 6 songs.

Daz definitely should have been top 5...it was initially ridiculous but I soon found a charm to it and I still love it now
March 18, 200718 yr Oh Teenage Life was great. :( But unforunately we had a terrible draw in the contest and Europe hates rap.
March 18, 200718 yr Big Brovaz were robbed... and Liz from Chronic Kitten... that song was just Son of a Preacher Man with new lyrics... TOTAL rip-off... I'm just glad the toe-curlingly awful Cyndi didn't win with her Celine-Titanic-song debacle....
March 19, 200718 yr cyndi should have won she woul dhave done well for the uk, scoochwont do well at eurovision def not top 15 on the big night hawkins and brown song was so disappointing as i was expecting it to be great, brian had the worst song of the night i thought, big brovaz song was ok but remonded me of love city groove
