That's funny. So am I.

There must be loads of things I should be doing but right now, none of them is interesting enough or urgent enough for meto be bothered.

Then she'd have to clear up their clearing up and will have loads of things lost. Although I do agree they should do it, it often makes more work
More blue skies today and lots of sunshine showing up some marks on my windows. They're beginning to irritate me. I think I'm going to have to go and sort that out.

Your right there Meg, Paula cleaned up the other day and Ive spent hours looking for things and if I ask she doesnt know

Oh yes, now I remember my brothers cleaning their room. They took it in turns.

One just shoved stuff anywhere. It didn't matter so long as it was out of sight.

The other one was more of a perfectionist than any of us girls. Just about everything that wasn't nailed down went out into the hall and sometimes overflowed into other rooms, and he'd clean everything left inside until it was shining. Everything went back to its exact spot. Meanwhile the rest of us couldn't get on because we kept falling over all the stuff.

I suppose it's what you're used to and comfortable with. I've only ever worked regular hours unlessI count the time I worked/played at Butlins one summer. I managed shifts fine then but I don't think I could have done it long term.

I've done shifts all my working life.

I love having 4 days off on a daytime week and 7 nights off

....shame I have to go into work to get them though

I used to like shifts - they gave me a bit of free time to myself and I could arrange time off easily as they always owed me so many hours.
