What should I be doing? I'm caught up - no pressures, so whatever I want!

And what I want right now is to be on here.

Serves me right! Every time I think that, suddenly new commitments spring up and take me by surprise.

How dare they keep me so busy, I can't get on here.

I wasted a lot of time yesterday so I should get off and try to finish yesterday's to-do list as well as the urgent and important tasks for today.
My dog has just given up putting his head between my hand and the keyboard. It's just because I've fed my father-in-law and he thinks he shouldhave something as well.

Dane is one of those dogs put together of all the bits left over from other dogs. His head is very chocolate lab but, the rest of him isn't. He was then, obviously painted in chocolate colours so that no one would notice the bits don't fit.

Just edited to ask what yours are.

They have got much shorter fur now

They are beautiful. Mine's an oddball. Lovely but odd.

Don't. That's cruel showing me your lovely dogs.

I'm more of a dog person but I've reluctantly got cats now because I've been doing a bit of travelling and it's easier to get people to come in and feed cats than take a dog out for the right amount of exercise. I compensate by borrowing my neighbour's dog to walk once a day and look after whenever she's going away for a day or two.

Mine just looks up and you just automatically feel 'Ahhh'. It's as if he reminds you every day what a terrible time he had as a puppy. we've had him for 7yrs today, so he must be about 8yrs old.

I still think that people that buy puppies and then use them as punch bags should maybe, be given a taste of their own treatment and for as long as the dog suffered.

If you accidently tread on ours now, he gets all excited as he knows he's probably going to get a treat to say sorry. He used to just collapse and shake.

My last dog came from the Cat and Dog home. She was a beautiful cross-bred Golden Lab but she had been beaten and it took me ages to fully get her trust.

The dog I walk now rarely barks because he was mistreated if he did when he was a puppy. He belonged to a couple with drug problems who lived in flats where they weren't allowed pets. They used to smuggle him out in a hold all and walk him.

I have to go shopping for a birthday present. It's easy when they're kids but I always find it hard to get something original and individual enough for late teens and men. It's exactly the same at Christmas - I breeze through the shopping for kids, usually find something different and suited to the interests of the women quite quickly but then stutter to a halt and have to do a last minute get something, anything, mad rush.

Argh. Shopping! I should be like my nephew. He does just about everything online even his banking. I don't think I'd ever have that trust though.
