dd, you shouldn't be doing tha with this sunshine. Get out - make the most of it. You'll only regret it when we're back to grey. Then you can do kitchen cupboards

Hey, Meg, we can't all sit in the sun. I have to cover up

or I suffer.Even suncream seems to not last long.

I took the dogs to the park it is lovely but the wind is quite chilly.

I have nearly finished the cupboards now.

I sit under the trees. Even when it's quite still, you still seeem to get a slight breeze there. I can't manage full sun for very long at all.

I was out in the sun wandering around two different garden centres looking for somehting different but of course I came back with dear old geraniums because they looked so lovely. I'll never learn.

I went into the second one for new pots but couldn't make up my mind about them so I bought a new spade. Now I'm considering digging a new border along the side and maybe starting a small veg plot.

You'll have to be quick before the good weather ends! But then you could always plant rice in your

new border if the rain comes ....... or should I say when the rain comes, knowing the Scottish

weather! L.O.L. Geraniums always look lovely, don't they. :) Often the old favourites are the best.

I should be deciding which bedding plants to buy.

It's broken already. It was very wet overnight and today we had strong winds which made it feel really chilly although the sun was shining, and we had frequent showers.

Oh well, I usually give the house a good going over before I go away. It will keep me busy indoors if I can't garden.

Here, it was light cloud but dry. So I sprayed the roses against greenfly and mildew.

Of course, a few hours hours later it rained! Just hope the spray was on long enough for

some of it to be absorbed.

We had rain this afternoon and it lasted a couple of hours. It was heavy rain and we certainly need it before everything becomes brown again. Then, later in the afternoon, I had lovely sunshine to walk in. The puddles have all gone and it hard to believe it poured down.
and I havent worked out the video yet!! its just not working with the ntl box!!..and the TV upstairs hasnt got as good a reception being analogue. thats what I should be doing!!!!
Since we got ntl, we've just gone for a put the vid in and press record. We get a load of rubbish but that way, we get the proogram we want - unless someone changes channels.

I must go and walk the dogs and I hope I dodge the showers.

I can never set the video I just put a tape in and press record.

Must get tapes ready :cheer:

I have worked out the videos problem...someone has nicked the scart plug, so although it turns on and off it isnt connected to the telly.dough!! all sorted I hope, have set it all up - I should be putting on a bit of makeup - but too excited about darius on tomorrow, just seen a lavish ad for the Southampton guys and dolls and wondering if Darius will be afforded some decent promo too. after all he was exceptional in Chicago.

Don't hold your breath for that, pip. There were never any clips of Darius actually performing in Chicago used in introductions or background on any programmes when he was a guest. The TV people always seemed to use the one which the BBC showed on Millionaire Manor, which didn't feature any of the leads who were at the Adelphi or Cambridge when Darius was in Chicago. I did recognise a couple of the ensemble.

The best we can hope for will either be some shots of Darius rehearsing or better still, a live mini-performance in the studio.

I should be hunting out the video instruction book!

Have to get off here sharpish or I'll be arriving in France with just my passport, euros and debit card.

As it is I'm confused about what to take. "Our " forecasts indicate good weather throughout but the French ones are showing showers/rain most days. Either way the temperatures are much higher than here in Scotland.

Speak to you again on Tuesday.
