I hope it's not rained too much at home.....my house will be terrible....mud splattered walls and filthy floors...ohhh nooooooo.

I hate going home to that :(

It hasn't rained much here, so you may be lucky. My Mum has had a couple of real downpours though
Are you looking forward to it by any chance? I'm bringing a 12 year old who just can't wait

I am slightly excited :D

Michael is going on Saturday its nearly a year since Darius and him had the photo taken :o

It doesn't seem that long - but it seems ages ago at the same time. I know that doesn't make sense but, that's just me.
such a shame, my two are dyng to see him again, but it's really too much of a trek. Hopefuly he willbe doing something else, (crosses everything crossable) and I will have to get them there, youngest is old enough now to go to most things that she was too young for when he was touring etc.

I'm sure it wont be to long we all hope its not anyway

If Michael was there, mine would go all coy. She's into the age where she REALLY notices boys. The trouble is, she's a late grower. All our family either grow early and stop or grow late. She's going to be one of those who'll grow at 15 or 16 (boys seem to be 17 or over for a spurt)
Going to get the papers. It's still bucketing down and has been half the night. We do need it though - the lawn is still pachy and brown in places

We should have gone on a picnic today with Neil's car club but had a phone call at 9a.m. to say it was called off (after I had prepared everything, of course!!)!! Nevertheless, Neil has gone window-shopping for cars (his favourite pastime!!) and we will have our picnic for tea!! :D

Julie

I'm going to have a bath. The dog has just been rubbed down and is now damp rather than dripping.

Just been cleaning the front door and hovering and tidying the games room.

Scattered clouds, about 84F

Sorry guys but off to have a swim in a bit...and a nice glass of wine.

....I really don't want to come home

...perhaps one little thing to compensate my return on Wednesday.

Oh and if you know anyone who is thinking of going to Florida...send them in my direction.

Know of a lovely villa for rent

I'm dragging myself away because strangely enough we've got brilliant sunshine accompanied by great growling thunder. I've got a surge protection plug but I'm going offline for a while.

I'll use the opportunity to cook something which takes a bit of preparation for my dinner tonight. While I'm there, I might do some baking and fill the cake tins.

should be in bed, just got back form a fantastic Elkie Brooks concert at the lacal theatre. she still ahs a superb voice, really enjoyable night out,
