Weekly shopping time. What a drag! I'm so tempted to order online and have it delivered but I can't - have to save money for Edinburgh.

yes, she said she thought her last song would be a big hit, but wasnt..then she thumbed up and said but I am still going arent I.

 

she sang a song about trying again which was excellent. she sang some old songs of hers plus some country and western and Jazz. belted them out too, great jazz voice. The sort of gig I enjoy, her and her band, like they were jamming on stage, enjoying the music. none of this dancing backers and razzamataz rot, just great songs and a great voice and some genuine interaction with the crowd(although the theatre was far from full, which was a suprise)

It sounds great. She always could belt them out.

I know what I want to do. What I am doing, I suppose, I should be doing. I'd rather be in Liverpool though. I'm waiting for a delivery from the chemist for my father-in-law.

Choosing something to wear to be a lady who lunches.

Im trying to decide where to take my mum for lunch.....wanted to head south but there's rain :(

My mum didn't ever mind the weather if we went by car. She just loved getting all dressed up and the complete change from her daily routine. It didn't have to be anywhere particularly special nor did it have to be a new place we'd never been before.

 

She loved daytrips too but she wouldn't stay overnight anywhere, so I'd be exhausted because it would be a long day driving if we went any distance.

I should be cooking lunch but I've got caught up playing with my pics. It's amazing how different they look printed out. Some of my faves are not good.

Lunch canceled....she's not hungry...doesn't want to go anywhere.....

I had a fab lunch. I'm literally just in the door and I'm going out again at 7.30. Just enough time to eat again.

If you do, please tell me what you think. It's supposed to be as good if not better than Ocean's 11. The plot seems OK and it's Las Vegas again. :)
