Poor dane he must be bad.

We got out at 9pm - still rain but no storm. I may take him out again now. bright blue sky nd no rain. I wonder how many minutes it'll last.

It started pouring down before I got my coat on. I have taken him now though. I wonder what he'd think of puppies.

It's dry here today. My hedges need cut. I don't know whether to do them today when there's still a lot of water on them or wait till tomorrow in the hope of not getting soaked as I cut them.

I'd wait until tomorrow. I know we're supposed to have more sun tomorrow. I'll believe it when it happens though.

well I got what I wonted done, clipping and weeding..have to dash around the garden doing a bit here and there in between the rain, - its raining now.

I didn't have time in the end.

 

I nipped out just to post my donation for D's present and another letter which I needed to get weighed before buying a stamp. As it was, I could've stuck one of the dozen or so 1st class stamps at home on it. Anyway, on the way back I nipped into a local shop for a couple of odds and ends and met a girl I hadn't seen for several years. We stood chatting for ages and as I finally left the store, I met my former neighbour and we had a long catch-up chat.

 

The hedges can wait.

They'll just stand there and grow, Baytree. You just have to trim of another couple of extra inches next time. I'm suppose to be walking the dog. The sudden downpour, has yet again, put me off. I'll try again in an hours time.

True. Right now the hedges are just about the same height as the neighbours', just a little more ragged looking.

loverly, my corn is as high as..well my knees, all is growing apace due to the wet weather - unfortunately that includes megaweeds!!

My grass is a beautiful fresh shade of green.
