thats the trouble! I keep having to nip out and do a bit inbetween showers, we let the back half of our lawn grow like a meadow these daysd and only cut it in autumn, so its just wonderful..the grass is as tall as my youngest and I cherish the wild orchids that have been able to get a foot hold and the other wild flowers. the birds flit into it after the insects and it is wonderful. the council hasnt been able to cut the grass so often so its lovely all around really, tall meadow like verges and greens with the wild flowers able to grow for a change and the grass in flower, , our field out back is glorious, I have never seen them let it get this long before, its such a shame when they do cut it! whihc they are getting around to in bits and peices doging the downpours - they could save thousands of pounds and do some environment good if they let it all be!!
That's it. I'll have an environmentally friendly garden. I don't think my neighbours would be too chuffed though.
its the way to go, i had to explain to our lawn mowing obssessed neighbour that our overgrown lawn was in fact carefully managed..our neighbour now keeps jokingly asking if we are getting any pigs - anyone who recalls the Good Life would get that. and strangley I would love some pigs..not sure about lambs they seem to eat rather a lot if Gorden Ramseys were anything to go by, and we know there is a wild cat(cats) around as hubby and a colleague spotted one while on night duty some time back in a different job out near Ascot so wouldnt want to tempt fate.

Would a wildcat be big enough to kill lambs?

"carefully managed" - files phrase away for later use. Thanks.

How mind numbingly boring is shredding mail and documents? I know its necessary to prevent identity theft :arrr: but :banghead: The machine's so noisy I can't listen to anything while I do it.

well one got Gordon Ramseys lamb while it was in the "Beckhams" field. not a lot left of the thing, I can't recall where the Beckhams live, I suppose they pull them down and strangle them, farm stock arent the brightest sparks I doubt they put up much fight,

as for shredding, other half shreds everything, even shreds shopping reciepts - manually - pedantically. I havent the patience, I just rip the part of any document with personal details etc into tiny peices, the rest goes in the recycle box

I had a cat which was an abandoned feral kitten and I could almost swear he was half Scottish Wildcat. He had all the markings and he was quite a big cat. I had him for 14 years and he was never truly domesticated. He had a vicious temper and went ballistic if anyone so much as touched a hair on his tail. I called him Tigre (French for tiger) and he lived up to his name. I think he drew more blood from me than the doctors over those 14 years.
I should be finishing editing a photo but Norton started running and closed the whole lot down after an hour and a half of work. I should now not be throwing the pc out of the window. I hope I don't.
No, I'm just saving things every few minutes. I was not happy last night. I'm off to get the papers now.
I love sitting in the sun eating. It's one of the things I enjoy most about summer. Just back out now to read the paper in the sun. I just hope this weather lasts for a while.
Well, I'm here. I must admit, I didn't want to ge up. I had nightmares all night. Very unusual for me.

too much cheese,??

I only have nightmares if I am ill, or have eaten too much before bed.
