Well done Meg. Did you get any sleep?

I'm reading in between housework, making lunch and have about 150 pages to go.

:o You have read a full book?

I was in bed, I'm now up but thinking of going back and hibernating because then I wouldn't have to deal with all the problems.

I'm sluggish too this morning but I have to go out and do my voluntary work and then cut the grass again. All that rain has made it jump up but we've had 3 almost dry days. I can't take the gamble we'll get 4.

I think I might need to go shopping for new blades first.

With the dpressing weather of late I haven't been eating allthat healthily and I think I might have put on some weight. I say think because i haven'tdared stepon the scales.

I guess that's the first thing I should do. It's always better to know and deal with something than not to know andlet it get worse.

My clothes tell me. They don't keep quiet about it. If they'd just stay fitting, it wouldn't matter at all.

I'm sick of not being able to breathe through my nose...i'm off to get some beconaze...I'm sure it's allergy related

Trouble is the problems don't sort themselves out while you're hibernating under the duvet - they have a habit of multiplying unless someone else will sort them out for you.

Pam - hope the beconase helps and you feel better soon.

Meg - does the Thames look really high where you are? They said on the tv this morning it might burst its banks in Oxford and Reading

It is high. Part of the towpath is covered but, on this side of the river we're fine. I wouldn't like to be in one of the houses on the other side though

I've just got back from my friends and she had the TV on...the regional weather came on with a photo of Bolton-le-Sands

........blue skies....few streaks of clouds and kites flying...because it's the kit festival :o

I looked out of the window towards B-L-S and thick clouds, grey and white....not a tiny patch of clouds

...and definitely no kites!!

Back home...still no sign of any kites or blue sky :o

I should be getting some lunch but I can't think of anything I fancy. I'm obviously not hungry enough yet.
