Housework

*housework fits into the time alloted to it*

In other words, there is always something to do .... PFFT

Personally I'd rather be in Dariusland ....

Gals .. if you do ironing ... you are martyrs to the cause .... Tumble Dryers, clothes on hangers over radiators ... cut down on ironing at a stroke and if you are still doing "his" shirts, you are spoiling him!!

What should I be doing .. going to bed. im on earlies in the morning

the irony for me the past week was that "what I should have been doing" was looking at this site - but had to settle for all the above mentioned things ie ironing, washing, cooking - so nice to be stuck to this site again

washing up

I'm with you on that. I've had days and days filled with action and communication, feeling so frustrated because I couldn't get on here and the other sweet places.

Now I'm back, I'm all sweetness and light again, ready to be kind to the world if it will only grant me some breathing space.

Actually I don't mind washing up at all (excluding the saucepans)

I've got a dishwasher but I've started washing up by hand again. There's something calming about the warm water, the bubbles and the rhythmic action plus a quiet time to let thoughts and ideas just come into my head.

Im trying to be on here but I have three grandchildren going beserk here, one 9 months, one 23 months and one 2and half, husband is having to keep an eye while im here, mother is at work all day.
I don't recommend washing up but tinies often do enjoy water play. It takes time to prepare to protect the floor etc. but they sometimes like to help do that too. Have you tried singing some D songs as you type. they'll make a change from the usual nursery rhymes. Maybe you could sing Colourblind while you type and maurice could show them the colours and get them to run and touch or just say something every time you sing the name of one colour.
Well at the moment they have the childrens tv on but the six year old has just arrived who is a boy and the two and a half one is a girl and idolises him, it is so funny to watch her. I dont think they would settle with the Darius music as it doesnt beat using the sofas as a trampoline for them!!
I'm trying not to notice that it's looking good outside and I need to get out and do gardening things I can quickly stop if the rain does come - cutting the hedge, planting up annuals etc.

Should be getting tea ready early as I'm going to see G4 tonight!

How was the show MC? :)
