Posted March 2, 200718 yr Music boss to raise funds for Clinton PA Entertainment Hip-hop mogul Timbaland is set to host a lavish fundraiser for presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, it was reported today. The producer, who has worked with stars including Madonna, Jay-Z, Elton John and 50 Cent, will hold the 1,000 dollar a ticket bash in Miami on March 31, according to the New York Post. The event would be a coup for Mrs Clinton as she battles with headline-grabbing Democratic rival Barack Obama, who would be America's first black president if elected. Last month a host of Hollywood celebrities donated 1.3 million dollars to his campaign at a giltzy reception in Los Angeles organised by film producer Steven Spielberg and Dreamworks studio co-founders Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen. Timbaland, real name Timothy Mosley, is a composer and one of the most influential producers in the music industry. Other big names he's worked with include rap superstars The Game, Ludacris and Missy Elliott, plus Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. Former US president Bill Clinton will also be at the fundraiser to boost the star count, the Post said.
