Most artists do that nowdays! :o Shakira done it a while back! :D

 

If I was one of Ana's management, her last release schedual would look like this:

 

1. Left Outside Alone

2. I Do

3. Sick And Tired

4. Where Do I Belong?

 

And if they done well, a 5th single (Seasons Change or Pretty Little Dum Dum) to push it!

Yes but HOMH was to... passover. You'd hear it, it's to soft. Something dark GETS noticed. Like, WOW this is Anastacia doing dark rock?! :o It works for her! etc.

I don't know if it would've been a hit tbh, maybe it's too different to be a single

Look at ballads by MCR and FOB that they've released this year, all of which have been darker and BIGGER hits then HOMH.

Look at bands like HIM (who are also fab) their songs are dark but very emotive. Anyway I think sometimes it is better to hold some songs back just for the fans who buy the album. Some of the best songs are album tracks.
