I soo agree! I won't even go into this deeply coz I don't want to offend people, but I hate the way Islam people are being victimised even after the 9/11 and 7/7 attacks. Yh your scared, but they are also, and victims just like us. Its a small minority of people who decide to do these callous things. Plus there are many religions that kill and victimise others, yet they are not targetted as much...disgrace :(

Dont be scared to go into your feelings in more depth AI, go for it, this is the place to vent a bit of spleen...

As for the 9/11 and 7/7 terror attacks, well, I've always felt that both were as a response to actions by the West..

9/11 - A response to America establishing permanent army bases in the Muslim Holy lands, as well as the first Gulf Oil War in 1991. Also, US support of Israeli State terrorism against the Palestinians (and their continuous, entirely hypocritical vetoing of UN resolutions against Israel) is also a key factor in Bin Laden's reasoning. People like to make out that 9/11 was unprovoked.. Nonsense..... How does one explain how Bin Laden goes from an ally of the West during the Cold War to a sworn enemy..?

7/7 - A resonse to the lies, the crookedness and the murder and mayhem wrought by Britain and the US upon Iraq.. Blair can say what he likes, Londoners damn well know why 7/7 happened....

I only disagree on him on one aspect, that Right Wing, zealot Christian views do come into Bush's ideology... He is a puppet of the Christian Right in America as much as he is a puppet of the Corporations...

I´d say the contrary, the christian right in America is a puppet, not GWB is a puppet of them. Remember he only "convert" just when he entered to his politic life... You can´t be elected in USA with a christian identity. He cares about religion just the same as any average ocidental person does.

It´s very easy to blame all their actions on the ocident... in fact, i´m not scared of it cause the probability of a western citizen to be victim of one of these attacks is one in a billion. Plus, we were talking about muslim states (not paralell - terrorist - organizations) and how they act with their own people - which are their biggest victims.

Well, I'm sorry mate, but it happens to a fact... How else do you explain Bin Laden turning on his US/CIA Paymasters..? If you dont believe that there is a causal link between the First Gulf Oil war, the establishment of permanent US bases in Saudi Arabia Post-Gulf War 1 and the creation of Al Qaeda in the early 90s, then frankly you're fooling yourself and believing the bullsh!t propogated by the US Neo-Cons that 9/11 was an 'unprovoked' attack on the US...

Of course there are other theories, ones which place the Bush Administration as being complicit in the 9/11 attacks, or at the very least having advanced knowlege of the attacks, neither of which would not surprise me in the slightest....
