March 7, 200718 yr Let's hope that this will be her first album since Homogenic that the lady's actually remembered to write SONGS for. I'm SO bored of her nigh-on unlistenable experimental nonsense.....
March 8, 200718 yr Author I'm SO bored of her nigh-on unlistenable experimental nonsense..... Such as???
March 8, 200718 yr Medulla was absolutely painful.... and most of Vespertine was totally song-less. The last 'proper' Bjork album was the masterpiece Homogenic.... since then, to my eyes and ears, it's been a rapid downward spiral of self indulgence and re-packaged re-issues....
March 15, 200718 yr Author Medulla was absolutely painful.... and most of Vespertine was totally song-less. so i suppose your not the type of dude to ask about the yoko ono remix album then ???
March 15, 200718 yr Yes, I'm a Witch is full of great songs, though. OK, Ono's 'singing' may not be to everyone's taste, but this album is excellent... especially Flaming Lips, Peaches and Antony Hegarty's collabs.... Apples in Stereo come up trumps on it, too - it's worth a tenner of anyone's money. And I still reckon her Walking On Thin Ice is one of the best songs ever recorded....

March 21, 200718 yr looks good!! i can't wait to see what her super fan Timbaland comes up with, his dream collabo finally came true
March 22, 200718 yr aww..I adore her artwork...usually. That one's vile, though :o I agree! You certainly could have done a much better job.
March 22, 200718 yr hehe... ta. It really is horrid, though, isn't it? The font, the colours... ewwww. Hardly in the vein of her other iconic sleeves like Homogenic or Debut... Edited March 22, 200718 yr by russt68
March 22, 200718 yr Author hehe... ta. It really is horrid, though, isn't it? The font, the colours... ewwww. Hardly in the vein of her other iconic sleeves like Homogenic or Debut... the photo concept would be all right if it was on its own but the typography is so totally awful it should be put in a brown bag on purchase  however more interesting than the yawnfull Brett Anderson cover which shockingly has the names Wolfgang Tillmans  and Peter Saville attached as co-creatives along with 3 other folk :o IhuAkHHmklI
March 23, 200718 yr Anderson's artwork is dull dull dull. I love Tillmans normally, too, and Saville has designed some of the best ever album covers - his work for New Order was superb.
March 23, 200718 yr Bjork inspired by Unicef teletext.co.uk Bjork says a visit to Indonesia with Unicef helped inspire her new album. After visiting Indonesia a year ago to see Unicef's work with tsunami victims, Bjork began writing with Timbaland for her album Volta, out May 7. "I went to New York to meet Timbaland," Bjork told 6 Music. "A massive tsunami of emotion came out of me and we started working with beats. Unicef had a big effect on me."
